Loving home available!!! Indiana I'm in search of a Yorkie, male or female, to add to our loving family. I am a single mom of a beautiful 7 year old little girl and a 2 year old Yorkie. My daughter is unbelievably sweet, kind and caring to any animal she meets and has NEVER been cross or rough with our Yorkie. She has inherited my unconditional love of animals and has already decided that she is going to be an "Animal Doctor" when she grows up! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, who is taking classes online towards a business degree. So we have plenty of time to devote to another precious pooch! My Yorkie is in desperate need of a playmate and would love to share her toys, food and bed with a new best friend. I have searched high and low for a reasonably priced furball all over the state, with no luck. I simply can't shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars for that perfect pooch. So I am opening my home to a Yorkie in need. It would bring me so much joy to know I am helping a furball who needs love, attention and a forever home. I can't think of anything better than that. So if you have a Yorkie in need or know of someone who has one that they either can't care for any longer, or simply don't have the time/love to devote to, I would love to welcome a new furball into our family. I am willing to send pictures of my home, our Yorkie girl, Miley, etc. I don't mind driving to pick up a sweet little furball within our general area (Indiana, Kentucky, Western Ohio, Illinois, Northern Tennessee). I have an established Veterinarian and keep my girl up to date on all her vaccinations and check-ups. I own my home and have a totally fenced in backyard. We love to take daily walks and lots of rides in the car. :aimeeyork So please keep us in mind!! We can't wait to shower a new pooch with all the love and attention it deserves!! :aimeeyork |
Can you tell us what you are willing to spend when you find the right Yorkie for your family? |

Sure, I'd be glad to. I would like to stay around $300 or under. I totally understand that shelters, rescue groups and such sometimes have vet bills, food costs, etc. that they have spent on a dog and they need to recoup at least some of the cost to stay open and continue helping other dogs. The "cost" is not the important thing to me, I am just offering a loving, caring, devoted and forever home to a Yorkie in need. I would hope that someone doesn't take advantage of my offer. And I also hope that my post isn't seen as a "sneaky" attempt to find a new pet, because that is so NOT my intention. I can assure you that IF a Yorkie was available to adopt into our family, that it would be VERY well cared for. I have the means to provide a new little furball with any and all neccesary veterinary care, food, shelter, etc. I know there are many animals out there that are in desperate need of loving, forever homes and I would love the opportunity to help :) |

Yes, I saw that precious little girl! She is so adorable. But it says that she'd be happiest as an "only pet". I did go ahead and email them and told them that if they were unable to place her with someone else that I would love to have her. Regardless, thank you for passing along her information. This is my 1st day on this site, and it's so nice to know there are such great people on here! |
All I have right now is morkies 2 boys 450. I have 5 yr. old toy poodle free , but must have her spay. She is a sweetheart, great with kids and other dogs. House broke, leadbroke. |

Yorkies come up daily. When I look on petharbor, I often check under "I Lost My Pet" to see what is in the shelters that will become available. That is better than the one to adopt because sometimes when the hold period is up, they end up having to make room. :( |

I do a daily search on Petfinder.com, but wasn't aware of petharbor.com. I'll add that one to my list. Thanks for the info! :animal-pa |

Thanks for the welcome, I can't seem to pull myself away from my computer and this site! It's the best...:yorkietal |
Just give it time and I am sure that there will be a little one that comes your way. There are plenty of people that are members here that have been able to find a wonderful little pup in need of a new home. Welcome to YT, I am sure that if you stick around you will find that there are so many members here that have the same passion that you do for the breed. |

He is being held up close to the camera. That is probably making him look much larger. You really cannot tell what size he is by this picture! And...yes, he is quite cute! |

What a sweet face! I will check into him. He is just too darn cute!!! :2hearts2: |
