also keep checking out your local craiglist for people seem to be rehoming them faster than you can say yorkie due to lost of job and the reccession we are in...good luck!

Wow, now that was freaky. That's exactly what I was doing when I saw the email pop-up about your post. I've been searching craigslist on a daily basis and even posted an ad. All I've managed to get is spam :(

No biggie, sooner or later I'll find me a new furbaby! :)

hehe...if you are willing to drive check all the craiglist in and around where you live...i know within the last month i think here in my small city i had seen like 10 rehoming of their 1 year to 4 year old yorkie...rehoming fees ranging from $30-100.

Melanie, when you look at Petfinder, are you also looking at their Classifieds? I didn't even know the Classifieds section existed, I had always just looked in the regular search section. But the Classifieds is where I ended up finding my Gracie J! I live in southern Indiana, by Evansville - I will keep an eye out for you too. :)

I started checking them out last night. I hadn't known about the classifieds either until someone suggested that yesterday! There's so many places to look and so little time in the day :)

Please check this little guy out. He is desperately needing a new home. He is in Indiana not Illinois. I talked to the director and she says he is super sweet!

She adopted three last week. Go to the He looks so Sad thread and you will see that she now has three little guys. Who know maybe she would want a 4th???? We need to get him out of this shelter it does not seem like he has very long. :(

Shoot ~ I was thinking, perfect! I hate when I don't look at the date... I agree we need to get him out!

Ditto! I read the he looks so sad post, but didn't put two and two together that this was the same person. I am willing to foster, but I am in Cincinnati not sure how far this little boy is from me to get him out of there.
