Looking for a male adult Yorkie I saw your post about the little male Yorkie. Are you still looking for a home for him? I know a retired lady who lives alone in an apartment who is looking for an adult Yorkie. She is an experienced longtime dogsitter(all kinds) and would make an excellent home. I'm in Virginia. If you still need a home for him, please e-mail me and let's talk. (I've volunteered with Labrador Retriever Rescue for 7 years and have seen dogs with a LOT of problems that usually disappear once the dogs are treated the way they should be. ) |

Or 6 months in our case. Our rescue has been in our house for 6 months and we were told she nipped at the children and was surrendered by the owners. We saw very little nipping the first few months (only adults that moved too fast around her). The past month we are now dealing with it in full force. At least she has not tried ever to bite children. Good luck! It sounds like he will be well taken care of. |
He's Gone and I miss him! My Mother-in-law picked him up last night and I miss him so much! But I know I made the best decision......3 Yorkies are enough, 4 are a little too much for me. Maybe b/c he was an outsider, my 3 are a Family - Father, Mother and Daughter. Training him took alot of Energy. He was very Smart and I was able to teach him alot in a short amount of time. He knew more Tricks than my own Dogs. Some one spent alot of time with him he was impressive but kind of Hyper & Nervous at first, but then he is an Absolute Sweet Heart and very affectionate. She is Lucky to have him, She owns a 900 acre Nursery & the Local Bee Keeper w/10 Hives. He's riding around w/her in a Golf Cart cruising the Property. She has been waiting for a "Free" male Yorkie for 3 yrs. now. I'm so Happy for both of them, they deserve each other! I hope I don't get anymore Owners surrendering their Pets? |
Glad he has a home. Maybe the Grandchildern were picking on him. Little kids don't always know how to treat aniamals and yorkie's are small. I have to watch my grandson around mine he's only 18 months old. but sophie is smart she stays away. i think she jeoulos of him. |
