You need to see if there is someone near Louisville, Ky -- because I just looked at the map and that is the closest big city - that town is almost in Kentucky. Maybe you should also post in the regional forums. If he was in my path, I would definitely help get him to Texas |
We are trying to get him to Illinois...not Texas! |
Unbelievable what MegansMomma is going through to try to get this little guy up to the Chicago area. Tried to fly there but Southwest does not allow any animals on their planes. Then she decided to fly there and rent a car to drive back...no rental cars available because there is a convention!!! The guy at the shelter said this poor little guy cannot stay there a lot longer. She is emailing many groups...and did get one response from a Maltese group that said they will try to find someone to help her. We are just trying to find someone to transport part of the way....anything would be a help...one hour..two hours! If you have ANY ideas, please, please message one of us. |
There was someone on her other thread that said they lived south of Louisville - but was willing to help out by driving part way. Did she PM him/her? |

1 Attachment(s) The little pup is fine....very thin and dirty and does have some leg issues. I am thinking it might be similar to a condition we had with another. With him, it was muscle contractures that he was born with....the legs did not bend. From Jodi's description, this little one might have the same thing. We will wait and see what the vet says...she is taking him tomorrow. Here is the pic she sent from her cell...as you can see, he is in need of grooming..she said he keeps his little head held down..poor little man is probably terrified. I am SO glad he is with her! Megan said he looks like a muppet...hahah...so I am calling him that until Jodi gives him a name. Here's Muppet :D.... Attachment 264870 |
Poor guy - I am so glad she was successful in reaching him in time. He has no idea how is fortunate just turned! Can't wait to see how a good grooming transform him. May he become instilled with the cocky confidence of being a great yorkie! |
