| BARNEY - yorkie 2yrs pics IA-PET FINDER LISTING PET FINDER LISTING - THIS IS NOT MY DOG ********************************* Adopt a Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Barney: Petfinder Meet Barney...a precious 2-year old little yorkie boy...well, OK...a big yorkie boy at 12.4 pounds...definitely precious tho! When Barney first arrived at his PALS foster home, he was very, very scared and was fear-biting. 2 weeks later, he actually asked for love, and has not stopped since! Due to Barney's initial difficulty with his transition, tho, we have pawmised him that we will find him a home that is already experienced with both small dogs, and with small dog rescues, as he may need extra care and attention as he settles in to his new home. But you can imagine what an incredible feeling it has been to watch this little guy learn to trust and to learn that not only are good things in life available, but that he can feel free to ask for them because he is surrounded by loving humans. He gets along with the other furkids in his foster home, but has shown definite anxiety around small 2-legged kids. While he sleeps in a crate at night at his foster home, he tells us that he would definitely like to sleep in bed with his new parent(s). Barney has made such incredible progress and we can't wait to see how he will blossom in his furever home! Don't even apply if you can't pawmise us that you will send us frequent pupdates! OK, just kidding...well, not really... Barney's adoption donation is $200 which includes his neuter, dental, microchipping, deworming, and shots. Please call or e-mail the PALS contact information located below to find out more about making this sweetheart a part of your family! _________________________________________ Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of furkids - our own and the PALS kids - and we are all volunteers with families, homes and full time jobs. We'll return email and phone inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks! ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member. ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption donations for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards maintenance, supplies, and improvement of the newly-built shelter!
