I am so sorry I did not see this earlier, as I live in Springfield. Just to let you all know though, I did call animal control ( a kill shelter) they will not let anyone but a rescue take the animals. They hold them for 5 days, if someone does not come forward, they WILL euthanize the dog. Only way around it is to have the rescue tag the dog. (or be the owner) C.A.R.E. has tagged this little girl. She will be going to them, not euthanized. C.A.R.E is a very reputable rescue in our area. They screen potential homes very well, and I have no doubt that this baby will be well taken care of. Again, sorry I did not see this earlier, but I did not even realize this section was here. I will pay more attention in the future.

Yes.... I have "Randy" (my husband named him) in hand. After 2 hours of cutting off matts then a bath (disgusting water) then a quick comb.... Here he is...
The first few pics are some of the matting that was on his legs.... it was RIDICULOUS!!! His legs LITERALLY looked like he had growths on his legs. You will see in one pic his toe nails are sooo long that they lay over sideways in order for him to stand. The haircut he has is not so lovely BUT.... much better than it was, his poor legs were just awful. He will get to go see a groomer & get all jazzed up & even

A little more cleaned up.... doesnt look awesome but better than he was... Cant wait for his hair to grow ... he is beautiful
OH YAH.... I forgot to mention... he plays fetch... I cannot believe it.. 2 fetchers in a row

Sophie puts him in his place if he looks at her for tooo long... then, he whines & whines then barks once & walks away... (kinda like.... Bi*ch!!)

I'm lost who is Randy? Was he one of the guys at the kill shelter? He wasn't the one that was posted as a Yorkie was he? You did a wonderful job with him. And, what a sweetheart. Did you find out how he ended up there? Happy Fourth by the way everyone:) Elaine

Oh that is a wonderful story. I'm glad he is in rescue being taken care of. What a shame to have lost such a special boy. Elaine

Aww the poor baby. You are awesome for taking such good care of him! Give him hugs and kisses for me! :-)
