| New Yorkie family member wanted and needed in Atlanta, GA We recently lost our beautiful and beloved Yorkie, Schniggle, and are now ready to love a new one. We prefer a rescue that needs loving parents. Of our three Yorkies, two have been rescues and all passed away at very old ages. Since we work out of our home offices, we are able to shower attention on our pets 24/7. We live in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and are willing to drive a reasonable distance for the right Yorkie. Here are some of our preferences: up to three years old – we don’t want to experience a loss too soon; silky not wiry coat – I love the therapy and bonding of combing the long hair most every day; prefer 5-7 pounds – like the others, we will take him/her with us lots of places and that’s a good carrying weight for antiquing, etc. We have a great environment with a fenced yard and a doggie door. (We also back up with potty papers for rainy days.) The children are grown live away from home and, when grandchildren visit, they are taught to be loving to our pets. Our home is very empty right now and, hopefully, the right new Yorkie will come along very, very soon. We are waiting for someone to contact us with the happy news! |

| Thank you for your suggestion. I have looked at the Florida Yorkies numerous times and most are a little older than we want -- one was especially adorable but 10 years old. I couldn't bear to part with a new little boy or girl too soon. I get way, way attached. Hopefully, we can find one younger and live a long life together. |
