Villette here is their info..They could e-mail and say they want to give to the Yorkies so the money only goes to them.They have a donation button but that would be for all the dogs.

Our home town has a Humane Society thats this couple owns, They are so good to the animals there and even put a dog of the week picture in the paper every week. They never put them to sleep unless some thing is very wrong with them . They took it over a few years ago and I really like them. they ask for help with donatations for all the animals and a lot of the town helps, it's just a very nice place and a lot of kind hearted people.

Villette can we see the pictures of the Yorkies?

That's what my friend was thinking when she asked me to post - She said ALL dog related things will help if donated ...and for a rescue of TEN yorkies - they were really needing HAIR PRODUCTS - figures right ?...but donations always help in more ways than we know.

I can pm you with pics - I think there may be 2 that already could be finding new homes - My friend even went to the dollar store today and bought a bunch of treats and things for them - her heart is really going out to these poor babies...they're so lucky she found them when she did !

I just want to make a point, here. These animals might not be released into adoptive homes for a while. If charges are brought, the animals will need to be kept as evidence, In that case, they are very carefully watched and fostered til after the hearing AND (this is the real SAD thing) the courts might find her not guilty and allow her to have them back.. That has happened here in MD. Hope N.Y. is different..

From what I know Rini - They will be placed for adoption and I don't think my friend is going for charges - she just needed to get them out of there - Some of the puppies may not have made it another 24 hours in that overheated house...I'm thinking they will be adopted and that will be that - I can check further into this - I didn't know that - Thanks !

I think I found ONE puppy a new home when they are released and deemed healthy - The person that wants one will be the BEST mom !

I am very interested and will be in the New York (I live in lowell ma almost 5 hours away) area next weekend for a footbal game. I just sent you a pm Redvett. Oh I'm so excited I will call the humaine society when I get home from work today I hope I can adopt one of these yorkies in needso Tiny Piccolo Baci will have a lovely little sister. I hope they will allow me to since I have ' younger kids' but they are awesome with Tiny They are so loving and gentle with him. I cant wait to call them and/or get a response from redvette

UPDATE !
They all HAVE been adopted ...I waited after I heard the puppies were gone to find out who was still left so I could post it - and my friend said they ALL are gone - THEY WENT FAST ! :)

My friend was under the impression they would be kept a little longer - but nope - they FLEW out the door with new families - One of my good friends tried to get one... and the day she called - the little puppies were already gone - so this is GREAT news - Yorkies are a very lucky breed as far as finding good homes after a rescue....

Sorry to those who were interested - and thank you for trying...moving FAST is the way to go when we hear these stories ...

I am so glad that they have found new homes . There are so many dogs in the world that will probably never find one . I was really touch by your story and was waiting for a happy ending .
