Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() Does anyone here sell TexasToothpicks? Amazon has Merrick Texas Toothpicks for $14.89 for a 6.5 oz bag or .89 each. I'd rather support a member when possible. They also have something called Merrick Jr. Texas Taffy - anyone know anything about this?

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() Be careful with the texas taffy or the rib (I can't think of the name), anything they make that has the "smoked" stuff on it gives mine bad upset stomaches. They like the toothpicks and the doggie wishbones the best. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() Thanks Amy - I wasn't sure what it was. The bully sticks seem to upset Greta tummy, but Bridget loves them. I feel so bad because they both love to chew (don't care much for the nylabones) so I'm trying to find something that will satisfy both of them. They like the Himalayan Chews - but I was looking for something to give them a little variety.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() Darcy likes the "schnoozle" which is the pig snout. It is so cute to see her carrying it around. She also likes the ears. The other 2 will not touch them, either they are too big for their liking, or they are too snobby lol. Another thing they like is the "turkey patties", one patty lasts for 2 treats for all 3 of them, and they are pretty well priced. The lamb training treats gave them "juicy poops" too. (That is what the receptionist at our vet calls it ![]() Merrick throws in a freebie in every now and then, plus shipping is free if you spend $25 on their site. When they ate Merrick, I had to order it all, since no where in town carried it. I was always pleased, they ship really fast. Now our local Petco carries Merrick, but only limited varieties. They don't carry the wishbones, but the Mgr. said he would check in to stocking them. |

| ![]() My dogs love the Texas toothpicks too, but my local feed store has been out of stock and I'd like to get some more. I was looking on the Merrick site, and it has the Texas toothpicks listed under rawhide. Are they a form of rawhide?

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() Yes, they are rawhide. The "Doggie Wishbones" are like bully sticks, but seem to last a little longer (for us anyway) |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I am not sure, I thought the toothpicks were rolled "rawhide", I have received 2 freebies in a box, but never ordered them. Yes, all the products are from Merrick, I am attaching pics so you can see the ones I am talking about, they sent me one of those big ears by mistake one time, but Darcy loves it, when she has one out, she runs and gets it and carries it around every time someone comes in the house, like they may want to take it from her--LOL. She is so silly. |

| ![]() Texas toothpicks are cow tails but they might use a generalized heading of rawhide to count for anything that includes the outside of a cow hide -- including the tail. But they are not rolled rawhide.
