Monkey Dress
 
Okay so as most of you know Ms. Bailey Madison is known as my little Monkey.... When she stands up she looks like one from the back so Nana' and Pa'paw have nicknamed her as Monkey since she was about 8 weeks old. Anyway..... I am looking for the Pet carrier with a monkey(s) on it that is air line approved....But Im looking to see if anyone can make a dress that has a monkey on it. We want it to be white at the top with some type of pink at the bottom skirt area and on the top where it is white im looking for a cute monkey embroidered on it. Can anyone help with this??? If so please post pictures of samples of the monkey and colors that it would be made out of...... also please let me know how much the dress will be! Thanks! I need it as it will be the one she meets my grandparents and aunts in when we go visit. PLEASE help if you can thanks!

I am going to look at fabric in the morning for you. The only thing is that I don't have an embroidery machine, I will though however look for a monkey patch.

Hahaha I know i am just anxious to get a dress for her when she meets the family....LOL She has to look cute!!!!! I mean she is already cute but the dress will help!!! LOL

Well, bad news, I looked everywhere and cannot find any fabric other than flannel with monkeys.:( I went so far as to look at clothing and sheets and still found nothing:( I will keep trying to find some until you say STOP!:D

LOL thanks.... What about doing a white top with the patch and the skirt piece pink.....

I can do that. Actually I just ordered a couple of monkey appliques from Joannes fabrics and they should be in this week.

You might also pm Des (Tiger's Mom), the owner of Go Fetch. She does custom embroidery and could probably make you exactly what you want.

There is an example of her monkey design in post #31.

Yes that is the one i want to get.... just waiting to see if i get a good price on it or if i get it for my birthday! Im soooo excited. I have a special friend making me a dress and i cant WAIT to get it! She is custom making one and she is going to embroider Bailey's name on it so it will def. match that carrier. Its going to be Chocolate browns, pinks, and a little aqua! It looks sooo good together. She showed me a design and I would show now!!! But.... you all are going to have to wait cause you have to see it on Ms. Bailey Madison first! As she will "make" the dress!:D

After I posted this link, I realized that you were already looking for this same carrier. :D Hopefully, you'll get it for your b-day. It is a really cute bag and I wouldn't mind getting one for myself. I can't wait to see the dress on your 'lil monkey. ;)

You??? :)I cant wait either! LOL I wish it were done and in my hands Im SOOO excited! Yeah My parents gave her the nick name lil monkey as when she stands up she looks like one...LOL!:p So then that got me on the whole monkey theme! For christmas in my stocking i got a hand towel with a monkey on it for her bag....in case we need something to wipe her feet or face off.... or emergencies..LOL! So she has that, she has her dress coming her bow coming and HOPEFULLY that carrier....LOL I will definitely post picutures!:D

Not to encourage you to shop anymore, but they also have the matching Petfly Uncle Money sweater. So whoever is getting you the carrier for the gift, perhaps they can also add this item to your monkey collection. :D

LOL That is tooo cute.... Yeah for christmas i got Ms. Bailey Madison the snowsuit from Monkey Daze.... (My to addictions... Monkey Daze clothing + Monkeys...together = Happiness!!!....LOL) Just Look at these Picture!

Isn't it fun to have a name with a theme? Lady is really "Ladybug" so I can't resist anything with a ladybug on it!
