I personally use human pads. It is exactly twice the size of the pad holder, so I cut it and get 2 for one. It ended up more than twice cheaper than wee wee pads, which can be hard to find over here :( I have found the thick ones for not much more money :) When trying out different brands, I would "feel" the pads in the bag. You can easily tell if it's thick enough or not. If it was an option, I would definitely go for washable pads :) But it's not, and nobody sells them here, in fact no one really uses pads for their dogs. I was wondering if I can find a way to make it.. :D |
Arm & Hammer Pee pads for Rocky I swear by these ive been using them since i first got Rocky because a friend of mine recommended them to me. They are great he can pee on them up to 3 or 4 times and you cant smell the pee smell because of the arm and hammer that's built into the pad. I have only seen them at Target they have a 50pk for $13.99 or 80pk for $19.99 |
Go to EZ welp.com they are reclaimed pads i got the ones that were $3.00 and under i got 10 the first time and then 10 the second time and with in 6 months i have saved 300 dollars.. i just shake them put them in the washer with detergent and bleach and hot water and they are fine .. of course if something happes the puppys have the runs just rinse it off with the garden hose or what ever .. you will love them and the money you save is great.. good luck..:D |
I know this is probably a dumb questions, but are you doing wash then everyday with those? I would love to try them, as I currently use the disposable ones. Quote:

Here is a website I found last nite (it must have been for you because I don't use pee pads ;) ) If the price is too high maybe you cold get someone to split the cost with you and you all split the pads I think its worth. I've used these before and really liked them, more absorbent than the Arm & Hammer I purchased from Target Pee Pads For Cheap - Great For Puppy Potty Training |
I am a believer in the washable potty pads. This site has a large variety of washable potty pads - both brand new and re-claimed: Reclaimed Pads |

Rescue Me sells washable pee pads for $10 a piece plus $1 each for shipping. PM me if your interested and I can send you a picture. |
I know lots of YTers love washable.. and I have one myself for Alfie as our regular potty area... but he has had issues with the in side and out side pottying. So we have been buying throw aways as well just in case for another area in the house that he has decided he also likes to do his business... Anyways, cheap is good so after spending like $20 on 15 pads from PetSmart we went to Target!! 55 pads (Arm and Hammer) for $13. |

I use "OUT" from wal mart. My girls each have their own pad. They use them 2-3X for pee. I have never had a leak. |
