|  Pet Edge Question... They are charging a "minimum order charge" of $6.99...and thats not including Shipping($6.76)  Does anyone know why, I am looking at some stuff for my GE buddy and I don't understand why the extra charge?Too does anyone have a promo code or anything??!!  |

| I think you have to spend $60 for them not to charge that fee. Since it's mostly wholesale, it's meant to be for businesses..that's why the prices are so low, that way they can stock up. If you dont spend over $60 they charge you that fee.

| Shoot, anytime I order from petedge, I have over $60 anyways...I will buy things for upcoming birthdays, holidays, etc.

| It's because PetEdge is a wholesale site... one of the only that allow consumers to buy from it without having a business. They don't want you buying one $5.99 shirt. By the time you buy the 5.99 shirt, plus the 6.99 fee plus shipping, you might as well buy it at your local store. That's the point. Plus they would rather be shipping out $500+ orders to stores. They charge the fee to cover the hassle of shipping you $20 worth of stuff. Pet Edge stuff is all over ebay if you just want one thing. Otherwise it's good to make a list and wait until you have $60 worth of stuff to buy... Pet Edge is good when you want to buy a crate or something big and have time to wait for it to be shipped. Don't feel like you've been "taken" when you pay more at a store. That store doesn't get a discount. They buy it for 5.99 too and sell it for $11.99 - they do have to make some $$.

| The only problem I have ever had w/ PetEdge is their clothing sizes...I just can't find any that fit .... to me, their sizes seem "odd". For shipping, I have never had a problem w/ anything I have had shipped from them...the shipping price was even cheaper than most places, shipped UPS and was received w/in a week.....and I have placed a LOT of orders thru them. So definitely it is a great place to order if you have a larger order or need some large items....not a good place to order w/ just a $20 order though!
