Ok, YT Friends, this is my prototype. There are a few minor adjustments I need to make before I am happy with the undershirt, but I know that many of you are anxiously waiting for "something". My version is a "vest" style undershirt which velcros at the neck and across the back for easy on and off. They are completely reversible, you can choose the two colors you want from my selection of over 25 different colors of Dupioni Silk. As soon as I work out all of the details and get some honest critique from my friends, I will add a Silk Undershirt thread with ordering info.

Just a note, when you make the slip...sew it so the right side of the fabric (silky side) is close to the body...basically inside out.

Wow- that's great. I'm new to the site. Do you make alot of doggie clothes? I do for my girl, too. Chattiesmom, do you sell your stuff on this site? What a great way to make some extra $$$. :aimeeyork

Add me to your list of interested owners: I have a 4# male who needs a T-shirt or two--he loves his clothes; and a 7.25# female who wears harness dresses and T-shirts. So count me in.

Now that's what I would have imagined when you were talking about making a slip, something smooth like satin for the hair to glide over and not matt. Great work girl, I knew you could do it. Not bulky either.:bravo:

Thanks for the compliments, I hope it works out okay. I sent this one to Chachi for a consumer product test, lol. But anyone that wants to take a chance this idea will work can PM me, and I could make one for you now.

This is great Jennifer. As a show person that uses satin coats, this one would be ideal. Great job!

OMGosh is that cute !!!!! It looks so easy to put on and take off !! I was leery about anything with velcro on it cause my girls hair always gets caught in it - I may need to get a few for my girls - please post more info if you sell them ??? Do you have a thread somewhere ???

V... you are so right! My girls hair also gets stuck in the velcro. I really like this idea for an undershirt :thumbup: WOW i'm learning so much these days :D :D
