I have a Cheetah Buddy Belt, size 4, which I believe they have retired.
Riley has only worn it 2-times.

He has only worn it 2-times. It is a very Soft leather.

Size 4 fits between 8 & 12 pounds....
Riley is between 8 & 9 pounds....
He could wear a 3.5 or a 4

Hi, my pup is six months old and weighs 5.11 lbs. 12 inches on chest and 13 inches long. Will a size four work for me? Maybe shell grow into it? She's wearing a size two Bb now. And on the second to last hole in it. I would take it if you think shell grow in to it. Not sure how much more she's going to grow!

I am a BB retailer and my boys wear nothing but BBs. A Size 4 would be huge on your girl and would not hold her. She needs a Size 3. At most, she will likely not grow bigger than a Size 3.5.

Hi, should I wait awhile longer to get a size three? Do you sell the cheetah print in a three? She's still growing I think. I really need to get s new buddy belt later!

I was just going to suggest you check in with "Maximo"! :D
Riley is about 9 pounds and has about a 14 1/2" chest girth.
He could really probably even do a 3.5....

I have 2 Cheetahs left, Size 3 and 3.5 -- it is a retired edition, meaning BB doesn't make them anymore. I'm sure a couple of other boutiques have a few left too.

Adult, full-grown size can be difficult to predict, but I am guessing your girl has some more growing to do. Yorkies tend to fill out and develop muscle their second year too.

For my pup, I would probably buy a less expensive Classic Color BB while my pup is still growing and invest in the fancy ones later. Cheetah is a Luxury Edition and one of the most expensive.

Riley and Max are about the same size. :) Max could do a 3.5 for chest size for sure, but the 4 gives him the extra room he needs around his muscular upper legs -- the armpit area.

Awe, I hate to have to wait on the cheetah print. I really like that one. But who knows how big my girl is going to get. Darn. How much is the size 3, or 3.5 in cheetah anyway?

Buddy Belt Dog Harness Cheetah (Retired)

$53 and $61

I want to caution again not to use a BB that is too big. If the harness is not properly fitted, it will not hold your pup securely.

Wow, Pnut is a 3.5? Khloe is 5 pounds but suuuper skinny. She has the tiniest chest and neck measurements of any dog that I know (around her size). Couver is 7 pounds and is a 3. I thought Pnut was like 4 pounds?

That just shows us how different their little bodies are! Peanut is 4.5 to 5 lb usually in the summer he is 4-4.5 and in the winter he is 5- His last Vet visit he was 4.5 :D

I also get the 3.5 fitted to him, I take it to the mall to the purse/shoe shop and they add 2 more holes for me... He is right in between one of those holes when he has a shirt or sweater on, and when he doesnt he still needs one xtra hole to make it fit perfectly. I can probably get the 3 but I don't think it would fit "as" good as the 3.5 since I add 2 holes

LOL Michelle I looked at my invoice from my last BB order, Peanut is a 3 :p I was thinking wait a min something doesn't seem right hahaha Duh Im a ding bat today!

I should have said he can do that 2 but since I add 2 holes the 3 fits better for him hahaha!!

It is interesting! Couver is on the second to last hole and sometimes I put him on the last one. Pnut must have a cobby body :)

Ya see post above, I made a mistake Peanut is a 3, he probably could be a 2 but since I make those 2 extra holes for the perfect fit the 3 works better... the 3 is big without me making 2 extra holes. However I don't think with a sweater on the 2 would work out for us

That makes more sense! Khloe can wear a sweater under the 2, but it is on the last hole. I think a 3 would be great with some extra holes...

The 3 with extra holes is perfect... all you have to do is take it to a purse/shoe leather shop and they can add holes. They did it soooo good on my black BB you can't even tell!!! I still have to take my Caramel one I just bought in.. :thumbup:
