Waiting for orders from yougetthesmiles (Missy) or would help fill an order The purpose and intent of this thread is simply to match up people who have not received their orders from yougetthesmiles (Missy) and for those who would be willing to sew an order. I have approved this thread through Admin and an Moderator and we have agreed that any post that is off topic will be deleted. At this point we do not know how many YTers may be affected, but here is your chance to "get what you paid for" well almost anyway. Ultimately what I hope this thread accomplilshes is a pairing of: 1) YT members who have paid for but not received an order from Yougetthesmiles aka Missy to 2) YT members who are willing to sew an item for one of our YT family who have not yet received their orders. Please - post in this thread ONLY if you are waiting for an order or willing to sew. |

What if you have some gently used, outgrown items--- harness vests for instance. Can we donate those? I have a couple I would be willing to ship to folks. LMK:cool: |

As it stands now, we have a small army of seamstresses who are ready and willing to help and NO ONE to sew for. Each of us volunteering to help has our own personal reasons for wanting to help and I do not question them -- only feel honored to be a part of such a remarkable group. If you are still waiting for an item - please don't be bashful - post here..... we would like to see your confidence in YT sellers. If you don't feel comfortable posting publicly, then send me a pm and I will hook you up with someone who can sew the item that Missy didn't. |

wow-this thread is full of amazing YTers :) i do not have an unfulfilled order from missy but would like to pitch in....no, i cannot sew well enough to send anyone an item that they actually paid for (lol), but seeing as the talented ladies on YT are offering their assistance, i would like to in the form of helping with shipping fees for a couple of outstanding orders (since they are already using their materials and time) ... cindy, would this be okay? if so i can send you my paypal email via PM :) |

Sorry for all the deletions everyone :) - just trying to keep the intent of this thread intact. I know there is valid concern all around - for those volunteering, for Missy, for the integrity of this process. All of those concerns hold merit and, as usual, it just reinforces the extent to which people here at YT care. I do want to honor the original purpose of this thread and hope everyone can try to understand. :) :) :) |

Update! I thought I'd give everyone an update. YT is so full of generous, kind hearted people who are always willing to jump in and help. To date we have: 10 members who are willing to help sew 3 members who are willing to help with postage costs 2 members who have offered to help by donating new and nearly new items 3 members who have offered to "help in any way they can" plus a score of people who are "cheering us on" I have only received one notification of a member who is missing an item made by Missy - by pm - and this member was very appreciative of the offer for a replacement item, but declined. She asked to remain annonymous and I will honor her wishes -- but I do bet that she gets something in the mail in the near future :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: . THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL YTers WHO HAVE OFFERED HELP AND/OR MORAL SUPPORT! I am rather disappointed that we can't put some of the volunteers to work :D, so if you are still waiting, PLEASE either post here or send me a pm. |

Jaxon got the most adorable vest from Connie & an unbelievable bed & matching winter scarfs from Patti & the gang! We didn't ask for anything-they just felt the urge to surprise us!
