Diggy and Kobi's Rescue Blanket Drive
 
Paula (diggy4) and I have decided to team up to help rescue yorkies have a warm winter season! A blanket may be the only thing these yorkies have that is theirs and theirs alone.

Here is what we have decided: for every blanket you buy, we will donate one to a yorkie rescue for the babies in need.

PRICING:
1 blanket for you = $14 shipped
2 blankets for you = $25 shipped
3 blankets for you = $36 shipped
4 blankets for you = $47 shipped
If you would like more than 4 blankets (YAY!!) or for international shipping, please PM for pricing :)

Also, we would like recommendations of which rescues you would like us to send blankets to. We have a short list compiled so far...1) Oklahoma Yorkie Rescue, 2) Yorkie Rescue Me, 3) United Yorkie Rescue, and 4) Yorkie Haven. Our first goal will be to send each of these four rescues FIVE blankets :) We are positive with your help we can accomplish this in no time ;)

Wow this is getting better. So many choices. I want a few but it's hard to narrow down the choices. There are 8 prints I really like. I have to decide and let you know. :D

Why dont you post a link to this sale thread in the GE vendor sale thread? That may generate a few more orders since everyone has to buy for their buddy & it is a winter GE ???

You two are AMAZING!!! I have a couple of diggy's blankets and LOVE them, well the monkeys love them :) They are PERFECT size for snuggling.

I hope that everyone takes advantage of this spectacular idea to help all the cold rescue babies that need warmth in the winter. What better way to give back to an organization that has helped so many.

I am attaching a photo of a blanket I just made. This PARTICULAR one was 22" square, but they vary by a couple inches either way. Also, those measurements are the actual blanket, NOT including the ties.

This is a blanket I just finished, and as I'm sure you can imagine, Paula and I probably have slightly different techniques, so I'm sure she'll be happy to post a finished one of hers too :)

What a sweet thing to do!! We always send things with our pups when they go to their furever homes so that they know they take something with them and are being sent with our approval and love. We don't want them to feel they are just being tossed away again.

Just wanted to post an update:

Anybody who has ordered a blanket from me (I can't speak for Paula...) blankets ALL shipped out yesterday either First Class or Priority :)

Lil' Miss Izzie received her two blankets today and they are soooo beautiful :) Thank you for the extra fleece tug toys for her, she loves fleece tug toys (actually anything to do with fleece she enjoys, she even eats her kibble from a fleece tube :D I forgot to let you know that if possible I would like my two donated blankets to go to United Yorkie Rescue. :aimeeyork

And absolutely, yours can go to UYR!! :) Actually, as of right now, we have almost enough orders for 5 to each rescue!!! So we are doing great, but they can always use more! :D

I think this is my Christmas blanket! We just got it yesterday and it's so nice!
It's a nice size for my two small girls to lay on! Thanks for the fleece toy too! They loved that!!

Just wanted to update everyone, as something sells out, I take it off Photobucket. Also, I have added three new licensed fleece prints, Winnie the Pooh, Snoopy, and Strawberry Shortcake. These prints will be $1 additional per blanket as this fabric is MUCH more expensive than the other ;)

We are hoping for many more orders, as we'd love to be able to send tons of blankets to these rescue babies in need!!

OMG I got 4 blankies this weekend - two from Paula and two from Lauren. Everyone I can't say enough about the quality of these blankets. The prints are amazing - I got the doggie fire hydrant from Paula and the Giraffe and Ladybug from Lauren and they are too cute for words.

You also can not go wrong with the pricing. I just attended a grand opening in our area of a very high-end pet botique and she had the blankets there and they were going for $20.00 a piece!! Plus if you are getting them from these two wonderful ladies you know that they are made with love and that they are donating one to a resuce..you can't do any better than that.

Thanks girls...I love them and so does Izzy and her peep friends that will be getting them from Santa Paws!!:animal-pa:thumbup::animal-pa:thumbup::animal-pa

OKYR wants to send a GREAT BIG THANK YOU out to these ladies for what they are doing. I got home & today in the mail were 2 packages from Paula...
7 blankets & 3 fleece toys!!!!!
Our babies want to send a great big kiss & hug to Aunt Paula... it is REALLY getting cold here now & they are thankful for something to snuggle up to & call their own.
We all send our love
