I got a good picture of Chloe in her new barrette today. Here's the barrettes I just bought at walmart. They are so cute, gemstone pink butterflies. They came in black too. I think it was like $2.50 for set of 2. I love crystal barrettes or anything similar and always on the look out for them. These were a great deal.

Thank you! I haven't been able to show her off for a while because we were dealing with an allergy and ear problem that made her hair really fall out from scratching. She had lost her top knot, was extremely thin around her eyes and muzzle, and now it's just long enough to pull up again. I was in tears about that more than once. I'm so happy my big girl is getting back to her old self!

A friend gave me a tip on putting rubber bands in Lida's hair. Get a pair of hemostats and put the band on the hemos, gather up the hair and hold it in place with the end of the hemos, then just slip the rubber band down onto the hair. It works really good, she use to raise yorkies and that's how she got the bands in their hair! Just thought I'd pass it along.

Chloe looks so cute. I love the barrete is very beautiful. :)

I use these on Pita for everyday keeping hair out of her face but it's a topknot if we are going out!
