Kathryn was a member here for a long time before opening her online store called Beyond Spoiled. She always had great reviews. I bought from her with fantastic service, quality products, and a great attitude. She has since closed her business and I have not seen her post here in awhile.

I am sure there are lots of companies with the same names operating across the country. I bet if you opened your phone book and I opened mine we would find all sorts of companies with the same name. Names of businesses cannot be copyrighted. There are some rules that MIGHT apply under Federal Trademark law. Did the person you mention go through the Federal procedures to protect the name as a trademark? Does she KNOW she is the first person to use such a generic type name as Beyond Spoiled? There are undoubtedly other businesses with that name -- I would be I could find a human spa/salon with that name somewhere in the states too. So, I hardly think there is anything sinister in the commonality of the name. After all she did not have a webiste called beyondspoiled.com like Kathryn did. Instead she had an AOL addy ...beyondspoiledceo@aol.com. Not something that would easily come up on a search for the name. In fact, the only way either of those businesses show up in a google search is the ripoffreport and this thread.

I just noticed the other day someone here on Yorkietalk is now using Beyond Spoiled as their business name. Not sure if it is the one you are bringing up here. Are you related to any of them in some way? I tried to find the new one, but YT search feature failed for me again.

I know nothing about any of these businesses.

All I wanted was to purchase product or even just to check out this Katherine persons website only because she did have such RAVE reviews. I'm really big on service and quality product, as most everyone is, and I was totally sad to find that link. I wanted to share it with YT incase it was fraudulant, just as an FYI.

Do you know if Katherine has a new business name? Or what the company is called now?

My Mom has a business on here called Beyond Spoiled... I thought this thread was for her reviews... did not realize how many others were out there... :rolleyes: but after reading everyone else's comments I agree that a person can not get mad about finding another business out there with the same name... I would only understand being so upset if they were claiming to BE that business!! :eek: You all should check out hers though!! :D

Ah, thanks! I knew I had read someone was related to a new Beyond Spoiled store. Catchy name, bound to get repeated. I will have to check her store out. I wish Kathryn had stayed in business -- she went the extra for customer service.
