No, it was inside the actual box, on top of a few layers of tissue paper, in between two of the items that I bought for Chloe... I picked up the top item & there it was just as still as can be on the second item! So, I grabbed a glass, threw it on top and later my fiance went and took the item out from under it & left the cup on top & put the box outside in the shed. That's when it started moving and we found out it actually was alive (which, of course, almost killed me lol). All of the items in the box were thrown out. :( |
My boyfriend wants to just set the box on fire in a fire pit (with the roach inside), but I think that's just a little too cruel - even for that disgusting roach. Any other ideas that don't involve going anywhere near it? lol |
Hmmm why dont u just send a PM to the person and get a replacement since you threw it all out... man how scary i always scream like crazy if a moth flies even NEAR me :p |

LOL ! you guys are such Woosies !! :D hehe...you've never seen a TEXAS Tree Roach I bet - those suckers wear SHOES :D That's not fun opening up something with a critter in it but I heard they love glue and stuff like that. I remember an apartment I lived in ...I had to throw out all my phone books cause they were so attracted to them. I'd never seen one till I moved to TX but here we have roaches 2" big ...they live outside and can fly LOL When I first moved here I had one dive bomb me at a pool - I freaked...but after a while you get used to them |

When I lived in apartments we always had problems with the yucky little roaches - they're everywhere here ...but since living in homes I have never seen even one of that kind....but the tree Roaches are as big as your thumb and have Wings - they're disgusting and I can't step on them ...but a good spray of bug killer works The girls have found a few and they think it's BIG fun....or should I say BUG Fun lol - to watch them flail their creepy legs around. and Rhapsody....I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a Madagascar Hissing Roach  ....I think I'd have to freak out with the rest of you if I did :D |
When my neighbors moved out, I guess they had roaches pretty bad but when they sprayed their place.... they of course moved to mine!!! GROSS!!! Any ways after 2 nights of no sleep.. I found the best thing to kill them with is.. surprise.. ORANGE cleaner.. Hopefully I will NEVER have to use this knowledge again!!!! |
ICK...Hey I live in Illinois, we have roaches here, but they don't fly...Anyway I've never seen one fly...and that's okay by me, I don't want to see one...REALLY!!! |

If I see anything that doesnt belong ...... I spray whatever I have in the hosue on it!! THe other nite there was a scorpion in my room on the wall  I almost died! I had nothing but some Clorox Antibacterial spray so thats what I used. I sprayed the rest of the bottle on it till it stunned it enough that I could kill it!!! Sooooo my advice...... whatever you have to spray it... spray it! Hairspray... whatever! Then smoosh it!!!!! We have everything here in Texas but that doesnt mean I like it!! |
