Minksheen Minksheen is the best shampoo. Not only does it make them smell wonderful, it makes their coat very shiny. I only use a little bit on a sponge, it rinses off very easily. My dogs cotton coat was very dull, then I sent away for minksheen, I love it. Both of my dogs coats are beautiful now. Also my cotton coat Yorkie is not matting up like before. I highly recommend it. |

It will! |
thanks for sharing hun !! that's sweet of you !! :p |
:aimeeyork We got our shampoo the other day and this morning I used it for the first time on my 16 week old puppy. Well, he smells wonderful and his coat is very soft , but there was no sheen at all no matter how long I brushed. After about half hour I gave up because the poor baby was just getting annoyed with me. I think the sheen aspect doesn't work on puppy coats. I'll keep it and use it when he is older and see if I get the same results everyone else has testified to. :aimeeyork |
minksheen Chillipepper, did you shake the bottle well before you used it? |
I just ordered a bottle of MinkSheen last night. I'm so excited and hope I get the same results everyone else does! I will post results here when I get it. |
Well, add me to the list. I just ordered a bottle too. I will post a follow up after I use it on my 3 babies. |
Wow, their coats look incredible! |
Periwinkle I shook it lightly but not . Maybe that was the problem. Like I said he smelled wonderful and his coat was very soft, so it was probably my error in not shaking vigerously. Thanks for the hint. I just looked aty the bottle again and in red letters it reminds us to Shake well...duh... Well, now I'm ready to try it again, but for my poor baby's sake I'll wait a few days. Bath days are really tramatic for him for some reason..he acts as if I'm trying to kill him. I definitely have a little "drama queen":). |

I was on the verge of ordering some Cranberry Fields stuff but wanted to finish up the Pet Silk I already have since it does a good job too. If this MinkSheen doesn't work well for Tatum's type of hair, we'll try the CF stuff next. Wish us luck....... |

Okay, so Tatum had a bath with the MinkSheen last night and..... it's not for us. Sorry to say I just am not pleased with how she turned out. Her hair is always so silky and lays flat with a little flip where it's slightly layered but after her bath with the MinkSheen, it was all puffy and wavy and not smooth at all. Yes, it was soft but not silky. On top of that, I'm used to her hair being real soft after the conditioning and that's when I comb it. Then I blow dry and brush. But her hair was a big mass of poof after washing and she was whimpering while I brushed her. Keep in mind she is very obedient normally while being washed, combed and brushed. I tried blowdrying a little before brushing thinking it would straighten out. It was really just a big tangled mess. I guess it doesn't work for everyone. I'm gonna try the Cranberry Fields soon. Maybe we just need a stronger conditioner than MinkSheen offers. |
