However we won't stop reading because we will be afraid we're missing something:p |
2 Attachment(s) can anyone tell by these pictures if maggie looks like she has a silk coat, modified coat or other? She never mats but she just had her bath and brushing here. I was gonna order the minksheen since I've read so many reviews that sound good on yorkies. I just wondered if anyone elses yorkies look like they still need brushing after they were just brushed and of coursed rolled on the rugs a bit. I think I'll try it and I'll post some different pictures of her after I use it. Still wondering if she has silk coat or what. her hair looks a bit dry on the tips to me. what do yall think? |
Maggie is so pretty. I did notice her eyes did not appear green in those photos. It looks like anyone with a silky coat minksheen seems to be working better on. It's a shame to buy the product and not be happy with it. If you pm me I will be glad to send you a sample to try before you purchase it. Another member did that with someone and it was a good idea. |
wow, thank you. that would be so wonderful to try it before buying it. I have so many bottles and tried so many kinds of shampoo and really havent found any that I just love yet. She's been scratching more lately with the latest i've used on her. I've had pet silk, cb magic, cc or something like that and pantene (which did seem to give her more shine than any of the before mentioned) and I've got some now, that is a pearly lavender and it smells good but i've noticed she seems to be scratching more lately. I've also even tried the manes and tails and a few others I cant even remember. If you really dont mind sending me a little, I'll be glad to pay you something for it. I didnt want to pay almost 9 bucks for a sample with shipping. thats ridiculous for no more than i'll get. If I like it I plan to buy a gallon. I really appreciate this. thanks a lot sending you a pm. |
another thing, Maggies eyes almost always look mauve in her pictures. I dont have a clue why but most of the time that is the color they look but in person they look black. |

Thats what I did -recived within a week. |
With all the good press they are receiving I think everyone cleared them out, LOL. I kept waiting for my order to come and it never did. I found out that they are out of stock (they just recently refunded my money). I guess I won't ever get to try MinkSheen :(. |

It's kinda hard to tell from the pictures plus I am no expert. I do believe in the eye color depicting coat. Also, I have noticed that true silks tend to not look like "teddy bears". They usually have thinner coats..........but that is just my observation and of course am probably wrong. Some true silks look like 'ugly ducklins' compared to the soft-coated ones. Bobbi was not a cute puppy (to me he was) many questioned if he was a mix. Everytime I posted pics, I got many views but hardly any replies......it hurt my feelings a little...........lol (but then again, the girls are super popular on here and the boys tend not to be). There is another member who has 2 gorgeous true silk boys that grew up to be absolutely stunning. They look nothing like they did as puppies........I love watching all the changes. My boy is almost 9 months and his adult coat is coming in much different than it was. It is still very thin. His eyes reflect green all the time. I subscribe to a yorkie magazine and reading the articles from show breeders/exhibitors are very interesting. I just read one where it talks about 'ugly ducklins' turning into swans as adults ;) Anyhow, all this to say............I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF COAT SHE IS  She is gorgeous and who the heck cares..........:D Please tell us how the minsheen works for you ;) |
