I just got my gallon of MinkSheen today. It is my new favorite shampoo. Take a look-see at Peppy's hair.

LOL Peppy wasn't in a picture taking mood! But look at that SHINE! And can you smell him? Oh man he smells wonderful!

Don't ya just love the smell, and their hair is so soft.
I have posted about this shamppo before. I love it and will never use anything else as long as I can get this.Where did you buy it Cindy? Here is where I order mine from.

I love it , the smell like I said before smells like a very high end mens cologne to me. Smells as good as my hubby!

Cindy - :eek: What a beautiful furbaby!!! I may come to GA just to meet him. :D Ok, so what did his hair look like before? Was there a HUGE change in the way it looks? You know, I bought the coat handler products cause you said you loved them so much...:rolleyes: Any before and after pics? Hey - you must have gotten your camera back! Where's the pics of Miss Scarlett???? :D

awwwww geez, i just ordered..... i just can't stand not to try something new and that someone raves about.... talk about compulsive and out of control! :eek: and of course i ordered a couple of the skin sample kits, too.

To those of you who use this product - do you use a conditioner with it?

I have used a lot of other hair care products on my little man...but this is the only one that I can actually say is AWESOME!!!!!!!! When the groomer comes to give him his trimming every 5-6 weeks I make sure I give her my bottle of shampoo...the shine and softness is incredible!!!!!!!!

WOW he is Beautiful I love the long coats. My Daisy is getting there. I use Cowboy magic on her have you used it? does yours do better ? I may have to try if it does.

Hey MissDaisyMae - I have used CM on mine - I haven't compared with the Mink stuff yet, but while CM is works ok, I don't use it much anymore. It just didn't do a great deal for my pups... :( Don't ya know I very, very special furbabies????? :D



By the way - don't forget you're supposed to be RESTING your arm, ok?:rolleyes:

I agree - I like the shampoo, too. Just to throw this out to you.. I finally got Sea Breeze Oil and it is the BEST! I have only used it on my Tinka - miss cotton - and it did wonders! You can read my post in grooming on it if you want. ;)

I don't use any with it ,but mine have fairly short coats. You all will love,love ,love this shampoo!!!!

This shampoo is absolutely incredible. I didn't use ANY conditioner. I didn't really like the way his coat felt when I finished rinsing him, BUT after a thorough combing/brushing his hair felt better than it ever has.... EVER! And I ONLY used the MinkSheen. The shampoo has mink oil (poor minks) for coat condition and an antibacterial agent for any skin booboos that might be present.

I am sold on MinkSheen!

Teri, I have had Peppy since he was 8 months old. He is 2 1/2 now. I have only trimmed his "scragglies" and his belly, bottom and tootsies. Remember -- my 3 1/2 lbs. Peppy IS A FARM DOG. He is allowed outside to run and play in the grass, rolls in horse poop, gets grass clippings and shavings in his hair and chases the barn kitties.

Just imagine what his coat would look like if he was a pampered Prima Donna that wasn't allowed to go outside. I am convinced that a large part of a nice coat is in the genes.

Really, Peppy is only 3-1/2 lbs?????? Wow. What do you feed your dogs? Your dogs must get into a lot of stuff running around the farm - do you have problems with them getting sick or anything?

Teri, my gang eats Canidae All Life Stages food and are given all recommended shots -- all adult dogs that come here are allowed "to be dogs" -- they go outside roll in the grass, eat a variety of poop :eek: :thumbdown run in the sunshine and play rough. I do my best to protect them from things that will harm them however I believe that regular exposure to things that dogs would normally encounter helps strengthen their immune system. Knock on wood, Praise the Lord (really truly, He is AWEOME), and Yippie, I have NEVER had tummy problems, colds, sinus issues, etc.

Sometimes I think that because Yorkies are so small we tend to over protect them and don't allow them to be dogs.

This is one purchase you won't regret!

I will warn you that as you are doing that final rinse (lol I always set the timer and rinse with clear warm running water for 5 minutes) you will start :confused: :eek: cause there is nothing "left" in their hair to make it slippery or artifically shiny. However, once dry and you start combing -- that is when the "miracle transformation" takes place. The more you brush (or comb) the more their coat glows.

Ok,
I bathed my girls today with this shampoo. I posted pics on My Yorkie -omega's tribe.. My girls are not as stunning as Peppy, but they look pretty nice and it has made them softer than you can imagine.

It smells so good! Cindy is right about the way it feels when you are done rinsing - you think you HAVE to put on some conditioner. Then while brushing/combing and drying, you think you HAVE to put in some detangler or something else on the coat. Even on Tinka's horrid cottony coat, she looks pretty good and is sooooo soft. I gave her a cut afterwards cause her hair is just too thick...

I love watching Brea walk/run cause her hair just flows with every bounce - it's so pretty... :)

So anyways, would I recommend this shampoo?--yep, you betcha!:D
