I don't use any with it ,but mine have fairly short coats. You all will love,love ,love this shampoo!!!!

So no one uses conditoner with this shampoo? Seriously it's that good????? Can't wait to try it.:D

This shampoo is absolutely incredible. I didn't use ANY conditioner. I didn't really like the way his coat felt when I finished rinsing him, BUT after a thorough combing/brushing his hair felt better than it ever has.... EVER! And I ONLY used the MinkSheen. The shampoo has mink oil (poor minks) for coat condition and an antibacterial agent for any skin booboos that might be present.

I am sold on MinkSheen!

Teri, I have had Peppy since he was 8 months old. He is 2 1/2 now. I have only trimmed his "scragglies" and his belly, bottom and tootsies. Remember -- my 3 1/2 lbs. Peppy IS A FARM DOG. He is allowed outside to run and play in the grass, rolls in horse poop, gets grass clippings and shavings in his hair and chases the barn kitties.

Just imagine what his coat would look like if he was a pampered Prima Donna that wasn't allowed to go outside. I am convinced that a large part of a nice coat is in the genes.

Really, Peppy is only 3-1/2 lbs?????? Wow. What do you feed your dogs? Your dogs must get into a lot of stuff running around the farm - do you have problems with them getting sick or anything?

Teri, my gang eats Canidae All Life Stages food and are given all recommended shots -- all adult dogs that come here are allowed "to be dogs" -- they go outside roll in the grass, eat a variety of poop :eek: :thumbdown run in the sunshine and play rough. I do my best to protect them from things that will harm them however I believe that regular exposure to things that dogs would normally encounter helps strengthen their immune system. Knock on wood, Praise the Lord (really truly, He is AWEOME), and Yippie, I have NEVER had tummy problems, colds, sinus issues, etc.

Sometimes I think that because Yorkies are so small we tend to over protect them and don't allow them to be dogs.

This is one purchase you won't regret!

I will warn you that as you are doing that final rinse (lol I always set the timer and rinse with clear warm running water for 5 minutes) you will start :confused: :eek: cause there is nothing "left" in their hair to make it slippery or artifically shiny. However, once dry and you start combing -- that is when the "miracle transformation" takes place. The more you brush (or comb) the more their coat glows.

Ok,
I bathed my girls today with this shampoo. I posted pics on My Yorkie -omega's tribe.. My girls are not as stunning as Peppy, but they look pretty nice and it has made them softer than you can imagine.

It smells so good! Cindy is right about the way it feels when you are done rinsing - you think you HAVE to put on some conditioner. Then while brushing/combing and drying, you think you HAVE to put in some detangler or something else on the coat. Even on Tinka's horrid cottony coat, she looks pretty good and is sooooo soft. I gave her a cut afterwards cause her hair is just too thick...

I love watching Brea walk/run cause her hair just flows with every bounce - it's so pretty... :)

So anyways, would I recommend this shampoo?--yep, you betcha!:D
