Everlasting treat, Best thing ever!! 3 Attachment(s) I had been looking at these things on the web, so while we were in Cleveland I found them at Moochie & co. I swear they are the best thing ever invented! Everlasting treats by triple crown. The package says make sure your dog has hours of free time to spend on it, well mine each have one and they have chewed on them for over a week now and finally getting to the end of them. They LOVE them, they fought over them when I bought the one, so I had to go back before we left town to get another one. I think I am going to have to order another one for my chi(who has never liked to chew anything). You buy refills for them, a little disc, and you can put treats in the middle too if you want, that would fall out once they get to the center. I bought the medium size, they come in small, medium and large. I highly recommend them. |
That makes me think it's like the Everlasting Gobstopper...only for dogs! |
Exactly!! I thought the same thing. |
Wow those sound GREAT! I wonder if petsmart carries them. |
My Rudy has one of these. They are great.:) We put treats in the middle and it keeps him entertained for awhile. Rudy :aimeeyork & his mom (Dawn):animal-pa |
isnt it like the kong??? |
|
Oh I want one of those. My Tiger gets easily bored so this will definitely keep him from devouring my fabrics . . . :D Is it just available online |
Think I will give it a try and nice stocking stuffer to;) |
I couldn't find them anywhere here where I live, not even Petsmart. Then again this area is hard to find a lot of things. Other petsmarts may have them, I don't know, but they are everywhere online. I like them a lot better than a kong because they can't get the treat out unless they eat it or lick it which takes forever. My pom spent 3 straight hours on it last night while we watched tv and still didn't finish it. He gets easily bored and chews all toys up and this thing is wonderful. He has carried his around all day today, everywhere he goes it is in his mouth, so funny. I have to take it away or he won't quit. Lily and my chi got in a little scrap over the other one today, so I will be getting a third one for Christmas. |

can they break chunks off? I worry about chocking. |
i ordered the small??? do you think it will be too small?? |
Put it this way, my pom is a chew freak and hasn't been able to get chunks off. They lick it mainly and scrape it with their teeth. I would say it is extremely safe. The small would be perfect for a small yorkie, I should have gotten that for Lily but I got the medium in case my pom got a hold of it. She does fine with the medium though, so I would say either one. The large was very large, like for a lab or rottweiler. |
Oh, those look great. Thanks for the tip! |
OK, I got two of these for my girl's birthdays. I gave them to them a little bit ago and Tinka had the treat insert thing out of the rubber holder in about 3 minutes and had the whole thing in her mouth! :( I put it back in 3 times and she finally got it out and chewed up the treat. She is a VERY aggressive chewer. Kaya, on the other hand, is still gnawing on hers. :) I don't think it will last her through the night, though. At least they like them, I guess. I was really hoping for something that would LAST at least a day or two!!! Oh for a dog that makes things last.... I guess I'll have to get another dog. :D :D :D omega |
Wow!! They must be crazy chewers. I thought my pom was a chewer and these things last him at least a week. I can't think of anything else that would be any better, good luck in that. I actually ordered a third for my chi and got it yesterday, now they all 3 have one, it keeps them occupied as long as they have them. Maybe your yorkie is just really smart and figured out how to get the treat out quickly. |
Omega your pup sounds like mine! I would love to find something that would keep him occupied - I know they are not supposed to have rawhide, but I give him the little sticks and he goes through them like crazy!! And I will only give him 1 or 2 a week... |

Did you get the small or medium? Wonder if the other size would have made a difference? Nancy |

Could some users of Kong and Triple Crown compare the two? The guy at my feedstore swears by the Kong product which is similiar. Thanks. :D |
I found this site just now their refills are pretty cheap, $3.19 for the medium.http://www.thatpetplace.com/MainPro/MyCart00.aspx |

Thank you! One Petsmart only has this in the small version. I may go buy it today with a refill or two. :animal36 |
I got a small one and neither of my Yorks play with it much. |
So far Gracie has ignored the medium size. It is almost as if she is afraid of it or not sure what to do with it. I have now ordered a small. If she ignores that, I will have for sale several refills! |
This is so awesome!! |
Well, I didn't think it was possible, but my Pookie loves the small size. I'm at work most of the day, but d.h. is home and he says she licked on it for hours and hours yesterday when we first got it. She's trying to lick the treats out. |
