Need playpen/kennel I need a lightweight transportable playpen like thing for my 4 lb. yorkie. I have a baby gate that I use a lot but it would be really nice to have a unit that has 4 walls and that I use on the beach, in a hotel room, etc. I found this one at Target online http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...sin=B0006GX01O I just worry with it that it will be too bulky to transport, etc. and I found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 this one is really nice cause it folds up into width of just 5 inches but the panels aren't removable so this thing takes up 5 feet of space in both directions and I just dont' have that much space to spare. If the panels were removable so you could make it smaller it would be perfect. anyone have any other suggestions?

I got one of these exercise pens for when we go camping: http://www.petco.com/product_info.as...Pet+Yards&ct3= It folds up to where it is only 24 x 24 and maybe 3 inches deep... It makes it pretty easy to store. When it is set up it is a pretty nice area to play in. I also like that it doesn't obstruct their view- they can see everything going on around them so they don't feel like they are being confined. (even though they are... ) I didn't get mine from Petco, I found mine at Tractor Supply- it was a little cheaper than Petco's version... Last edited by Yorkie Owned; 05-10-2005 at 06:48 AM.

How about a soft crate. That is what I use when I travel.
