CM has the same ingredients as any of the laminates and shine we use on our hair .... De Frizz, Bio Silk, although I am betting itz cheaper for the CM ... but try your local drugstore and look for these ingredients as in BioSilk:

I just got mine in the mail yesterday from Ebay, when we got grayson he was already matted up, & I have tried to be careful brushing him and he cry's. The vet said we couldn't get him groomed until he had his last round of parvo shots, which he just did I am praying this Cowboy magic works and seeing is believeing! I hope I can save Grayson's coat and he won't have to be shaved down! He will be so cold if we have to!

Those pictures convinced me! Even though I don't have my little guy yet, I don't ever want him to get matted up so I went ahead and ordered some CM off Ebay so I'll have it when I need it!

that is some awesome stuff. i need to go out and buy some but i always forgets who sells it when i am out and about.

I've done 3 dogs now with it... and one was soooo worse than pixie! like 5x worse... matts on the neck and everything... I soaked him in it! and still only used like 1/8th, if that, of the bottle... the small one... and massaged it into the matts... then I let it sit for a good five minutes... then I went to work... I had that boy brushed out 100% in 2 hours! I could not believe my eyes!!!

Keeping in mind, I have been working matts for the last couple of weeks now and am getting quite good at it:p But still... 2 hours! That should have taken 2 days! Seriously! I am all about it!!! I am read to offer my services! lol it was stress free, and painless... He really did not mind.. we had teats every so often and it was no worse than a deep brushing.. I am VERY good at holding the base of the hair as not to pull on the roots.. None of the three ever were stressed... Pixie fell asleep at points in her dematting! lol Now that says something!

I can't wait to do a few more dogs!!! Its like doing a puzzle... Its very challenging and it feels so good to run that fine tooth comb through them in the end!!!!! :D Like placing that last piece and standing back to see the full picture.:thumbup:

I worked on Grayson for about 1 1/2 hours last night and he got fed up with me and jumped off my lap and ran away, he got figity at the end so I will work a little each night.

The smell of cowboy magic is nice and not as messy as I thought it would be

Safe for furbabies. I got mine at the feed store but I just ordered two bottles 12 oz. each for $13.99 from www.animalworldnetwork.com wereas it would have cost me more by having to buying the 4 oz. tube from the feed store at $8.86 x 3 I use it on both my furkids.

Yes, it is the product Cowboy Magic. It is the detangler and shine that you use for the mats. I also use the shampoo. Hope this helps you.

Yes, I too use the "detangler and Shine" but haven't tried the shampoo. When you use it, it appears that it is going to leave an oily look but it does not. It dries and leaves a pretty shine. I've just sent away for some shampoo form Bo Dereks collection and plan on trying that as someone raved about it. It's a detangling shampoo! If it is all that it cracks up to be, I'll do a post.:)
