Thanks for everyone's thoughts! |
Sounds like a great bag! Does it have any kind of frame or something to keep it from collapsing in on the dog? Or just a solid bottom? The bag I have now is plenty big, but the top (depending on how it is carried) can squish their little heads if not careful. Mine also has gaps between the zippers so she can work her head through and unzip it or poke her head out. Is this one fairly escape proof? Can you tell I don't like the bag I have now? Nancy |

And Jaden is 4 pounds :) |
I got "The bag" about a week ago and love, love, LOVE it! Its perfect and I can take Jaden with me everywhere I go! We even got into our incredibly snooty Target LOL :) He's so quiet in the bag and doesn't make a sound and whenever I get it out he comes running to it. Which is funny as he's never ridden in any kind of bag before this one but he's adapted to going out in them really well! I will have to take some pictures of him in it, it's too cute! I love the style of the bag as people are used to seeing me carrying around designer bags ( LV, Fendi, Dior, etc.) and no one has even noticed that I'm not carrying around one of my designer bags with this hobo. I also got another carrier from TrixieandPeanut that Jaden really loves too! Its a different style then this bag, its more square (its shaped and looks almost exactly like the Chanel Messenger/Reporter bag) I went shopping and took him in that one and no one noticed him in that one either. These two bags are my favorite carriers of the ones I've gotten so far:thumbup:  |
I love it!!!! Is it not the BEST!!!!! ????? I swear you can GO ANYWHERE! Its the best thing since the Yorkie! lol I just love mine and would never be without it! Paris is one of those dogs who is not big on the inclosed spaces... but pixie gets in and chills... she would spend all day in that bag if I'd let her! lol But the more I take her out the better paris is with it... the key is not giving in to a squirmer! I amlmost said screw Paris and quit trying! But I decided that I could not play favorits (which I do alot of) and started taking her out more.... and its done a world of good!!! Anyway!!! I'm just so stoked to hear that your LOVING "The Bag" too!!!! I swear if Shana ever stops carrying it, I'll have it on my site in a heartbeat!!! I am such a Fan of "The Bag"!!!!! And BTW... Jaden is the most awesome name!!!!! I love love love it!!!!! And then some! Kathryn |
I got the bag right before Thanksgiving and Kayah would NOT have it! one day, I just left it open and snuck a bully stick deep into the bag.. I look and guess who was in the bag? That's right! Kayah! I was thrilled.. I haven't had the chance to go out yet.. but as soon as I do I will be posting pictures of all the places we "sneak" into :D |
We did find the security leash!! Its under the pad! lol I would have never found it had another member stumbled across it! lol but then again, I never looked for it! lol |
Totally the best thing since the Yorkie! :p I think Jaden would spend all day int he bag if I let him too! Whenever I get it out and say we're going "bye-bye" he runs, well, more lile gallops to get in it! LOL Sounds like Paris is doing well adapting to the bag. I find that, at least with Jaden, for the most part, if he's not used to something or is uneasy with it at first, the more I do it the more comfortable he becomes with it. Now, I guess I just have to start saving up to get one in white and red too! LOL I'll still think she should give you one in Red for making ALL of us run over there and buy one :p I'm going to post pictures of Jaden in his new carriers today :) Oh and thanks for the compliment on his name! Its a funny story, I originally wanted a girl and had already picked out a name for her "Jada", when I went to go see the yorkies available he just absolutely stole my heart and his name was Armani so I changed it to Jaden Armani. The first two initials of his first name are the same as mine (Joy Alexandria, J.A.) and my last name is Fox and the last three letters of his name are "Den" like a Fox's den. LOL |
I ordered too 1 Attachment(s) I placed an order from Shana too. I decided to choose a different bag though. I'm hoping my little ones will transport to the vet in it. What do you guys think of this one off of her site?? Does anyone have this one? I'd love a review! :) |

Do the end mesh pieces zip down? Or is it really see through (first picture)? If they do zip down is there some kind of lock so the dog can't push the zipper open? Thanks, Nancy |

On the second bag, the Chanel inspired one from Trixie and Peanut the Mesh pieces are solid and do not zip down at all. I like that one because if Jaden wants to look out from the front he can and I don't have to worry about him jumping out. Basically with that bag if you want to get into the bag you have to go from the top. On the first bag, the one from Tinkerbells Closet the sides totally zip down and there is no mesh at all. So if Jaden wants to look out from the front I have to attach the security clip to him and keep an eye on him. However, the sides of the bag are made of mesh so he can look out the sides and they don't unzip. On the hobo from TBC there isn't any lock on the zipper that's on the sides but its completely on the outside so I don't think a dog could push the zipper open. Let me know if you have any other questions :) |
