| What is the best shampoo??? Hi, Can anyone help me? My Zoe has a real-cottony hair, and she seems to be getting tangles and matts all the time. I brush her etc. but nothing helps, her hair is not silky -like most yorkies-- it is more like cotton.... Does anyone know of a good shampoo, or other product to prevent this?? any help is greatly appreciated

| My Cooper has the cottony coat too. I use the Chris Christianson everyday shampoo and conditioner, but for the matts I use Cowboy Magic. I put some in my hands (like dime size) and rub it in my hands and then rub it through his coat. I do this right after his bath when he is damp, but also during the week on his dry hair. The mats come out really well, and they seem to stay out for a while too. After I use up the CC shampoo and conditioner, I am going to buy the Cowboy Magic Shampoo and Conditioner. I also use baby shampoo on Cooper's face area...not the CC. You can get the Cowboy magic online or at a feedstore. I also have used the Johnson and Johnson No More Tears Detangler and that works pretty good too. I use that on Carley mostly, she has a silky coat.
