Reason 5000 why I love Target I was just in Target to buy some treats for Luca and saw the cutest dog outfits!!! :animal-pa They have little swimsuits for the girls and swimming trunks for the boys. OMG, it was so precious. I'm gonna try to find some pics to put up here so you can see. My boyfriend would have KILLED me if I bought them for Luca and Adrianna. He's already complaining about Luca's camo vest and Adrianna harness dresses, lol. ;) |

Target will not allow the Marines on their property to do their toys for tots, they also do not allow the Salvation Army bell ringers to collect for Christmas. So love them all you want! |

The Salvation Army was at my Target for Christmas. So are the Boy/Girl Scouts. Also, I work with special needs children and they are so welcomed at my Target. The staff go out of their way (in not such a kissing up way) to accomondate the staff and our kids. The staff at Target also understand our kids have "behavioral incidents" at times and assist us in difusing the situation w/o causing MORE of a scene (ex: one of our kids have extreme OCD....he was trying to color coordinate the chips aisle. :) He became angry when we left the aisle and began to scream and rip apart the bags. The staff helped us immediately.) I will continue to shop at my Target. I'm sorry that you have had such negative experiences with yours. |
Target rocks! Wal-Mart is the real enemy. I am on my way there soon Christina. I will definitely be going down the doggie aisles. |
I love target I find lots of cute clothes for my daughter there. Our target never has the cute dog clothes though. |

I was just there also- and those suits are sooo cute! I am not sure what use they will be - but just for sunbathing at the park, I guess- when it is too hot to wear a dress. he he - I can't wait to see that! |
I love target!! It is like costco.... I can never leave without spending at least A hundred dollars. They seem to have everything. On another note our Targets in Oregon has let the Salvation Army on their property. I would think that would be the case for all Targets since it is a corporation. |
Target ROCKS!!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: They have a wonderful pet section (not to mention totally cool stuff for the rest of the house and family). I didn't see the swim suits but that is hilarious - I'll have to go check them out. (but as a sidenote - yuck to Wal-Mart!! except for their puppy pads which make an occasional visit worth the hassle) :rolleyes: |

I've also gotten great beds at target. I've bought 6 beds within the last 2 years and they've held up pretty well. They are softer and seem like they are sewn better and they are much cheaper than PetsMart and Petco. |

omg. i didn't know about the anti-american french owned thing. our local targets are soooooo crowded. i like their doggy stuff alot. i've gotten romeo a bed, a really cute jacket and toys that all held up nicely. i rarely go because of the crowds. you can barely find a parking spot and the lines are so deep. our walmarts are the same as far as crowds go. around here walmart has the cheapest dingos, milkbones, exc. i try to shop at locally owned shops to support the little guy. my big turnoff about walmart is that they support the whale killing trade in japan. in japan they kill endangered whales under the umbrella of research. they have such an abundance of whale meat that walmart buys it up and sells canned whale (like tuna) and also uses it in their dogfood. they have not produced any new whale research in 10 yrs. japanese just like to eat whale. i think it's really gross that walmart is involved. i try to boycott all japanese products and walmart. endangered animals need to be protected and americans need to be aware of how other countries contribute to killing populations under sick rules like research. ** sorry for ranting. i'm a whale lover. |

The targets in my area never have any cute dog clothes :( But I'm def going to keep looking for that bathing suit because my Bella and I will be hitting the beach together! |

I have regular target and Supertarget in my area, and always see bell ringers at Christmas and Girl Scout Cookie sellers. I love there stuff !!! :) |

Target is not, nor has it ever been foreign owned. I wish that people, before they start spreading rumors or try to ruin companies (like this one), would do a little research, read and learn. |
My sister in law says the same bad things about Target and wont shop there because they are anti american she says. Yet she does all her shoping at Walmart where everything comes from China sweat shops. |
I love Target! I buy everything I need from there and will never buy from Wal-mart!! you're right Kristy, they're the enemy!! they have better things at Target anyhow! They realy have cute stuff for pets, too bad whenever I go I always get the larger sizes of the cute clothes! I wish my dogs were bigger so i could buy them! :D I think if you don't like Target, stay out of this thread? or just ignore it right? |
i just remembered something....during Christmas, Target was the ONLY store that wished everyone a "Merry Christmas" and not Happy Holidays. i was very happy to see that |
