Puppy Pads Does anyone know where I can find cheap puppy potty pads? I am sick of buying them at Wal-Mart. There must be a website or something where I can find a pack with more than 50 pads. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! |
Hi Holly, I see you are from my area. I buy my pads in bulk of 100 from Petsmart. I'm not sure what you are looking to spend, but they do carry them in boxes of 100 there. I usually like to buy a huge box because of the winter season. I will buy less the warmer it becomes outside. I'm in Redford, MI. Maybe one day we can get our babies together. |
I buy my puppy pads on ebay. I just bought a box of 200 count for $25, $40 after taxes and shipping. very worth while. |
I use the washable from www.piddlepads.com just throw the poo in the trash can, throw um in the washer with some bleach and presto, clean potty pads all over again! :) Never have to buy them again. :) |
i got mine at dhmedical.com . i chose the smaller size (17x24), 300 was $47 including shipping. |
I got mine on ebay too. It was like $28 for 200. Some of them were irregular but for that price I didn't care! |
I get mine at Sams. They are bed pads, but work great for peepads. I think I get a box of 250 for under $30.00. :) |
I am so jealous. After reading about the big boxes on ebay 200/300 and 400, I emailed a couple of sellers but no one will ship them over here to the UK. They cost an absolute fortune over here and I cant find them any cheaper - Its £30 for 56 pads which is $53!! And here - http://cgi.ebay.com/PUPPY-PADS-17-x-...QQcmdZViewItem you can get 300 for $25!! WHATS UP WITH THAT?? :( :thumbdown |

Are they leakproof. Quote:
They all say that and it is never the case. Might be for the adult bed pads though. |
I think washable pads are so much better for the enviorment. I bought enough that I can do a full load at once, and it's just not that hard, if you have a washer and dryer. |
I too buy mine on eBay. I get them cheaper on eBay then I could wholesale! But I also have a fake grass system and then I have real grass now haha! The Pads I use for travel mostly now. But I'd say eBay is your best bet (: |

I would just want to warn new puppy owners that many of the blue backed pads sold on ebay and other discount places do not have the attractant on it that the commercial brands have. They are the same type of pad used in hospitals to help keep beds dry. You can buy a liquid attractant to put on these pads to help attract the puppy to that place to pee. It can also be used on the washable pads. I think one of the keys to training puppies to use pee pads is to have the attractant there to attract the puppy to the correct place to potty. It can be done without it but I have found the process much quicker when using the attractant. |
I buy pads from Ryan (YT member RDB911)....good price, pads work as well as others priced higher, and great customer service! After considering the cost of washing pads (detergent, water, electric, my time), I think disposable pads cost less. Also, I don't consider them any more damaging to the environment than all of those detergents and disinfectants used for washing pads, along with using up valuable resources like electricity and water. Who Makes the Best Puppy Pad Holder?! I have the Wee Wee pad brand holder; however, it is split in the middle and sometimes leaks on the floor anyway. Miles has two pee pee areas in the apt so I want to get a holder for the second spot. |

I'm a major fan of Ryan's quilted washable pads. RDB911 here on YT. I first bought one to try, then 12 then another 12. I only use cold water, liquid laundry detergent and a little bleach. (top loader and I wait and wash about 8 at a time). If there is a stain, I just spray it with shout or whatever is on sale or cheaper, and none of them have a stains. Wouldn't use anything else. Been useing these for 16 months and not one stain or worn area on these pads. They are incredible!! I finally got my friend to start useing them too since she was buying throw away pads so often. (money thrown away for sure). She is completely hooked now too! |
I buy pads for my crew at the local hospital. They are 10.50 for a pack of 50. They don't have the attractant, but my kids are older and already trained. |
