What a KOOOOOOL thing to win in a Raffle!

Kool is right, I never win anything lol, that was the first thing I ever won and, I was going to buy the very same one in that print so it was a BIG win for me lol. Since I have 2 vehicles I wanted two strollers to keep one in each vehicle. There have been so many times when Cody was with me I wanted to stop at the mall but coudn't, at 12 Lbs he's too heavy to be toting around. Now I am always prepared ;):)

To the World, and large breed Dog Owners (me), a 12 pound dog is TINY, ITTY BITTY, SO SMALL! BUT, To Toy Dog Owners it is not.
I get you on the 12 pounds needs a Stroller, too heavy to carry for long times....so is Katy's 3.8 pounds.....besides, great place for placing packages too.....they can get so heavy. <laughs and winks>
My Stroller has not yet arrived.....and I am so ready for it to be here!

Yes to ppl that have yorkies 7 pounds and under to them 12 pounds is BIG but, my now passed Matese weighed in at 17 Lbs. no fat, just a big beautiful sleek body girl so, to me 12 Lbs is tiny, itty bitty after a 17 Lb baby for 17 years lol.

I grew up with a 19 pound beagle mix and used to carry him around and thought he was tiny until I got my yorkies. My girls are 15 pounds and my boys are 12 and 13 pounds. They are tiny to me lol. Took Callie to her first pet expo and she loved it but she hated being on the floor with all those people walking and could have stepped on her. I ended up getting a stroller and through her 12 years we have had 4. She loves it and will try to jump in it when she sees it. I used it A LOT when she had her LP and CCL surgeries to keep her contained but take her out in the sun and keep her with me around the house. It’s like her doggy wheelchair. Ollie gets really nervous so I stick him in there at the pet events and he will fall asleep lol. Penny loves walking around to say hi to absolutely every human and dog. Joey walks around too. I got hooks so I can hand my bags from them too.

IT CAME! But so did the Ice Storm they were talking about. I gave her a ride around the house, SHE LOVES IT!

LOL soooo cute. I love that color. Last year when I got mine Cody was 7 years old, I didn't know how he would react to being in a stroller. After I had it set up we took a spin in it in the house, then out on the deck where it was a bit more bumpy. He did fine. The next day we went out in public, he was fantastic, so relaxed and saw the world from a new perspective. He was so cute, looking all around him, inside store windows lol.
It's good to start them young, get them use to many new things, Katy is going to love her stroller and the attention she will get.
The ice storm you had we are getting tomorrow in the way a wintry mix ending in snow, calling for 7 inches.

Katy go in the Stroller and LOVED riding around the house. She usually rides in her Bicycle Basket either on my bike, or it with her within, riding in the Walmart Cart.....she's so DANGED cute (but then you know this, because YOUR guy is that way too!) just riding along looking around at everyone and everything. I am hoping to get to the Mall with this Stroller soon.

Lucky you, Walmarts in Pennsylvania do not allow dogs unless they are service dogs, I would think they allow ESA, I don't know if they are allowed to ask for proof if you say your dog is a ESA. We have a lot of stores that allow dogs and many that do not. Macy allows dogs, Walmart NO, go figure lol.

Katy is so well behaved and socialized you would not have a problem taking her anyplace. Cody is behaved unless he sees another dog, then you meet Cujo lol.

None of the walmarts are supposed to let dogs in it just depends who is working and who sees. ESA (Emotional Support animals) are only generally allowed in plane cabins and non pet housing not stores and stuff. Also with ESA they do require a note from a doctor.

Um. <clears throat> I did not ask..... <shame on me> I just put her little container inside the cart and go into Walmart we go......I know. I know. I should not. But in our Walmart, there are often dogs. Katy also goes, and they invite them, into the Farm Store and also the Dollar Tree. I do the same with the basket at the Dollar Tree. Katy is quiet......and well behaved. If she starts to make noise or becomes active, I quietly tell her, "No." and she stops <so far anyway>

Short story, one time after picking Cody up from the groomer I took a different route home, I see Staples up ahead. I needed a few things, didn't know if they allowed dogs but took a chance. I always keep a blankie in my vehicles in case I have to pop into a store with him, I lay it in the baby seat of the shopping carts where I always put him. In we go, none of the workers said a thing, many places we go most of the workers fuss over him, Staples did not, I had to assume they do not want to encourage ppl bringing their dogs in. At the check out the lady fussed over him and asked to pet him lol, to all others we were invisible lol, but no one said dogs were not allowed.


Best Buy....In we go, every worker there all young fellows fussed over him, I just love when young fellows fuss and baby talk to him lol.


Bed, Bath and beyond.... have dog biscuits when you check out.


There was a time if I was planning on shopping and taking Cody with me I would call the stores and ask if dogs were allowed, most said no. Now I don't call, Cody is always in the cart, I never let him walk on leash. I have been in many pharmacies with him, they are not friendly but never tell me dogs are not allowed. Sometimes you just have to chance it. In today's society shop owners are realizing dogs are more then "just a dog" they are family and many stores have become dog friendly.


When I worked in NYC Manhattan, I was shocked to see how many stores dogs were allowed in and these were big dogs, times are changing.

Oh no I wasn’t saying you are bad or anything. I have seen some Walmart’s be really on it and some not. As long as they aren’t covered in fleas and filth and causing issues I couldn’t care less lol. I have taken Callie where she shouldn’t be before so I’m not judging. Callie is extremely well behaved. I have techs at my vets office that fight over who gets her when we come in lol.

Generally if no food is being sold it’s fine. If food is being sold the store can get in trouble and be closed down by the health department. Down in the county I grew up every drive through had dog treats. The bank, the liquor store and so on. Callie got one from chick fila once like a big milk bone and she would run around crying trying to hide it lol. Last Christmas our mail person would leave 4 milk bones every time she left a package.

I camped in Pennsylvania for 22 years before moving here, every McDonald and Burger King would give the dogs a slice of american cheese and I had 3 dogs at that time. In NY where I lived McDonalds and Burger King didn't do that, I would beg them to let me pay 50 cents for 3 slices of cheese because my dogs were use to getting cheese lol, some managers would sell me the cheese some would not, this was back in the 80's and 90's.

Now that I live here McDonald and Burger King don't give the dogs anything, now its the banks and pharmacy drive-thru that give dog treats lol. When I have Cody in the car and go to McDonald he thinks he's getting a treat, I tell him "its not the bank" lol.
