| I made Hanging door bells...Is anyone interested? I just made hanging bells for the door for Tinkerbell to jingle when she has to potty. They really work great! I was thinking about listing them in my store but before I do I wondered if this is an item that anyone would even be interested in purchasing? What do you guys think? I used grograin ribbon and hung large bells with key rings. I'll take a pic and post later. |

| There are for sale on another site also. We made our own "hanging bells". They work good until your puppy starts ringing them just to get attention and not to go out. If that begins to happen, you just have to start timing the puppy as to how long it's been since he went out & only take him out every so many minutes. We can't get Missy to "speak" yet so the bells are helping for the time being.

| Im so jealous! I dont even think I would be able to train my dogs to use a bell, but who knows, I have never even tried. The idea sounds great though!

| I'm interested and in how to teach them to use the bells. I read about this before I got my baby but haven't put much time into figuring out how to train her to use it. |

| My husband was just talking about wanting one of those today. How do you teach them to use it? We never know when Josie has to go outside, we just guess and take her out every couple of hours or she uses her pee pad. But it would be wonderul if we could train her to do that.

| I've been wanting to buy one of these too....just haven't gotten around to it, yet. Terrible for procrastinating, I know but still, I want to buy some hanging bells especially before we get and bring a little girl home!

| Here's the pic of what I made for my girls today. I know it's really girlie but if I decide to sell them I will do a bunch of colors including some that match home decor better so they blend in. I'm thinking about selling them for $10. I sewed nylon strapping (what leashes are made of) to the back of the ribbon to make it more durable and heavier. |

| I think those look GREAT! However, I just wanted to make sure you know that the Poochiebells are very similar and they are Patent Pending. I'm not sure where you'll stand if you were to start selling your version but wouldn't want to see a fellow YTer get into any kind of trouble.

| I wonder if this would work for an adult dog? Sadie does not bark, so I automatically take her outside about every two hours, unless she is sleeping. Where did you get the bells? |

| I trained Raven to ring the bells, after everything else failed. I guess she was about 4 months when I started working with her. I just started taking her paw and hitting the bells every time I took her out. She caught on real quick, and within days she was ringing her bells to go outside. The funny thing is that if I'm watching t.v. and she rings them, and I don't respond to her right away, she swats at them harder, and keeps swatting at them until I get up. I would say she has me trained real well.
