Thanks. We have the step-in puppia and it wraps around the middle of the dogs, so as I pick it up to wrap around the long hair gets caught up. The whole wrap is covered with Velcro, and while it is very strong for safety, it is also strong holding the hair! I have emailed the company that I bought it from to see if I can return them since I have only used them about 2 or 3 times. I am going to get the CF and see if that works better. I am surprised no one else has had this problem. |

Shinja (Lil Sis) sells the CF if you need a vendor. |
Thanks so much. Who knew so many issues would crop up with such tinys. My last Yorkie was 10 pounds and we loved every bit of him. I made the big mistake of using a harness when he was a puppy but then just using his collar since he walked so nicely - horrible mistake. He wound up with a collapsed trachea. Never do that again. I will see what Lil Sis has and then go from there. Again, good info from YorkieTalk :) |
Have you folks seen the Julius K-9 Harnesses? They're REALLY cute and you can personlize them with your dog's name or nickname: K9 dog harness from Julius-K9 |
It looks like it goes around the neck which is what I am trying to avoid |
trachea damage I'm desperate to find a harness that won't hurt my dog's trachea anymore. I googled and couldn't find anything that seemed right except for chattiesmom harness. However, my dog is a Bichon Frise. How/where do I buy chattiesmom harness? Sorry to be posting on YT forum but all roads kept bringing me back to chattiesmom. I just don't know where/how to buy it and if it would even work on a 15 lb Bichon. Please help :) |
