Wooden Comb Review wow, this comb is awesome.. the wooden teeth are slim and smooth and just glide thru the coat.. it does not snag or pull at all.. i love it and will never use anything else but a wooden teeth comb & wooden pin brush... |
oh thanks for sharing..im in the market after christmas to find something like this. |
That looks like a really cool wooden comb. I think we have to have one! I also like the wooden brushes by Chris Christensen, and the one I sell from #1 All Systems. #1 All Systems Wood Pin Massage Dog Brush I use the All Systems brush on my own head. Feels so good! :) |
Wow. I NEED one of those combs. Curly here is tough to get any comb through even with no mats. |
How big is it, I want something fairly small for their mustaches, is it pretty easy to use on the face? |

hi, the comb is pretty small . the teeth section is about 4 in. it has a double row of teeth but they are very close together.. i use it to comb oscars beard and it does a great job but it is not good for real close around the eyes... |
Now I really want it! |

It does look like a good comb, but how is the actual combing w/the curve of the comb (teeth)? How would that work, I'm wondering...it's not straight. |

i hope you do , you would love them both :) fyi , if you go to amazon.com in the health and beauty section you can get a wooden pin brush for $8 and it is just like the cc one |
awesome I will check it out thanks :) |
update i still really love this wooden pin comb. it is so awesome... this combined with the wooden pin brush makes for a very easy grooming routine:) |
Mine came in too and I love it for the first combing of the mustache area, this has been a real problem area for the boys, so I’m grateful to have found something that makes it easier. You have to finish off with a finer tooth comb, but it works great in that area in getting on initial snarls, without pulling their hair. I prefer the wooden pin brush for their legs which have full length hair. The wooden pin brush has pins that move and flex, so if there is a tangle, it doesn't just pull it. The wooden pin comb, however, does not have flexible pins, they are stationary. It seems like it would work great if their body hair was long, and it wouldn’t produce static electricity like some steel combs can. |

yes, it does work excellent on the body , for oscar anyway. he has fine pin straight hair and this comb works great.. it is too big to do his face so i use a small metal comb for that... then i finish off with the cc wooden pin brush.. |

I got my comb today THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FINDING ME ONE WANDA! I love it. While Wallee's hair hasnt yet grown back in I can tell by combing through his moustache that it glides nicely. Now I should be able to get the mats out from his harness somuch easier.:thumbup::thumbup: |
