Very nice looking, harness. best of luck.. |
Wow, that looks different. I was wondering how the fit was...it looks very comfortable. What is it made of? Is it sturdy? Very nice! |
How much do these cost? |
Please let me know all the details. Thanks. |

I've always used the puppia harness with the solid round neck opening and have never had a problem with it other than ZoE doesn't like it going over her head. I bought a step-in version for the first time and have used it for the past couple of weeks with no issue. Then the other day I had ZoE in the harness attached to a long 20ft puppy training lead so she could run around a bit. When she was at the farthest distance away from me, so the lead was taught, she turned around and backed up. I watched in horror as the harness slipped off right over her head. Thankfully, she's well trained to come when I call her and she did....but my heart was beating out of my chest the whole time as we were in the front yard & I live on a main road. Scary! |
The design looks nice and comfortable. Does it in any way touch the throat area? How much? |
I'm interested too! More details please |
It looks very nice! I just wonder if the sneaky pups will be able to slip out of it? |
looks great... and good for sweaters to put it in through the loop! DETAILS PLEASE! |
Maybe if she put a buckle on it... or adjuster??? Very cute tho. How much? |
Wow.. glad I posted! Ok .. it is very comfortable and soft , it is sturdy, and has enough stretch that it does not need any " adjustors.". But it is not flimsy either. I have not figured out a price yet.. I have a friend making the one which will be blue/ green thread. My thought was to make them reasonable in price so everyone could enjoy having one. The one shown appears to fit from a 4 to 5 lb. dog. Ralphie is wearing it, and he has been between 4.2 lbs to 4.12 . It goes over the head and around the arms easily. The one you are looking at is 6 years old and has not stretched out. I looked high and low ton find it again, and can not. So decided to make them. As soon as the new one is done, I will post photos. |
4 Attachment(s) Ok.. there are now 2 people working on a harness idea. This one attached is a little different..The price would be $20 , which includes shipping. Comments please..you can specify colors, size, number of rhinestones. |
I have decided that once I get some made, I will be donating the proceeds to Yorkie Haven. So, what ever I sell, above what the actual costs are for materials.. the money will all go to that cause! I hope these take off in a big way! |

1 Attachment(s) You are welcome..I think this is important! Attached is another harness ..again, I have two gals working on this for me.. XXS dog harness in red and silver metallic cording (other colors available are black/silver, blue/silver, white/silver and white/gold. This item will fit your pet (dog or cat) size 3-5 lbs. This simple design fits over your pet's head and through his legs, leash will be attached to a slip ring at pet's center back. When I get the other gals harness done, I will post those pictures, then we will see if production can start. !! |

Harness design 3 Attachment(s) Here are some photos of the crochet harness with rhinestones just finished. Her cost is $12 plus $6 for shipping. I would ask that perhaps $5 be added so that can be used for rescue. I will contact all the members that have left messages, and if you want to order, you can do so. These can be made to order. Should be allot of color choices. If you want the silver threaded one , add .99 cents. Please PM me for more details. My other gal is working on finishing her first one, so I will see what her costs are and post that information. Thanks for the interest! |
3 Attachment(s) Not sure what happened, but the pictures are not attaching! The harness looks pretty much like the first harness at the top of the thread..but a crochet weave. |
What a great idea, and how kind of you to think of YHR! The reason your pictures aren't showing up is you've made them too small. I can link them this way, but they are too small to see clearly. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...1_harness3.jpg |
The pictures came from the gal who is making the harness..and she set her camera too small. I have actually ordered the harness, and once it comes, I will post the pictures again. My other gal is almost finished with hers, so I will post that one. then the ordering can begin! I will contact everyone who has shown an interest, and hopefully the word will get around. |
Thanks for all your comments.. I am close to posting the other design, which I hope will be less of a cost, thereby allowing more of a donation to Yorkie Haven. Still working this out as I go along! The second style of harness I like because it is a knit..and the gal is making nothing on it at all..! So I will be excited to post those pictures.. Thanks for hanging in there with me! |
3 Attachment(s) OK!! I have the new design! This is from my friend at work, and I like the way this one turned out..this design will be less expensive and allow us to donate more.More rhinestones can be added. Some across the cross piece, and more on the legs. |
They are very cute. What a nice thing to do for YHR! |
I like!! And I want one. :D |

Ok.. everyone please PM me and ask for what you would like. I would prefer to use the latest design because my friend at work can do them for less cost than the Etsy one, as that gal is making her profit, so I have to pay that. Suzanne at work is just going to ask for her materials cost (!!), then I can get them made and sent out from here. So..suggest away! PM to me your wishes! I will bring that to her and we will see what we can do. Many Thanks YT'ers |
One question, what's the measurements on these? you say that the one above will fit a 3-5lb dog, but with Rizzo his measurements and his weight are always messing me up when buying harnesses and clothes. He's got a 12.5-13 inch chest measured just behind his front legs, will the XXS fit, or would we need to go up a size? |
