I just use a harness like this one, a normal, black nylon harness ! http://www.i-love-dogs.com/supplies/...Gifts_7070.jpg Its very light and easy to use, very strong and not too hot. Im also getting a leather harness (like pittbulls wear) cant wait to find out how it works ! |
I bought mine from Walmart for $10. It's also hot here in CA. If I knew how to post pic I would send you a pic what it looks like. |
The Step-In type haven't worked for us. Ellie is little and her elbows are so close to the strap that goes over her chest. She is able to slip her elbows through the strap and get loose sometimes. Just too risky even on a tight setting. Right now we are using the standard nylon harnesses from Petco/PetSmart. |
Does anyone make harnesses out of Kevlar or chain mail? So far, there doesn't seem to be a harness made that Connor cannot chew apart within 5 minutes. I simply cannot put him a harness and stick him in the back seat (with or without restraints) without him shredding the thing! It is getting expensive, not to mention frustrating!!!:mad: |

I couldn't use a harness with straps as Gracie can slip out of them easily. The Puppia vest harness is one piece and very secure. I don't know if a dog could chew it but I'm pretty sure it will work well for the little ones. |
