I do my best to avoid leather. Sometimes it's not possible (i.e. tennis shoes for hard to fit feet, etc.). I try to avoid leather purses and such. And baseball, well, not a fan. If somebody wants to purposely choose a nonessential product that is connected to severe animal cruelty, that is their choice. I do what I can when I can to avoid it when it is reasonably possible. And I give up/replace things slowly because all at once would have been too much for me. _____________________________________ JMO, just as the thought of dead animal skin makes me a lil sick as of late, so does the thought of rubbing mink fat on my dog. |
<<<loves Italian leather; sustainable, whole animal used no waste. Just sayin' better a natural substance than an artificial substitute derived from petroleum base... Minksheen to each their own; combine operations with a fur company& meat operation; I just can't though when I saw the Minks in the tiny cages looked all pup mill to me...I know I'm weird free ranging Minks to use their fur, fat & meat... |
