Cloud Nine Bed :) 3 Attachment(s) Our dog is not a "relaxer." He rarely sleeps when we're home, always wanting to play and run around. Anyways, after reading all of the rave reviews of the Cloud Nine Beds, I wanted to get one for our yorkie in the hopes that it would help him relax more if he had a more comfy bed. We've had it now for about a week and it has been terrific. We actually caught him putting himself to bed just to relax. (see pics) Linda was terrific to order from. I wanted our dog's bed to match our home decor so I asked if I could send her my own fabric and she said yes. So I ended up going to Joanne's, picking up our own fabric, and mailing it to her. She then made the bed, and mailed it back to us in just a few days! Yeay! It looks well made and very comfy, and our yorkie gives it 2 paws up. Awe. Cute pics. It is very funny how yorkies love their cloud nine beds. I purchase a cloud 9 bed and few weeks ago, and my Louie just loves it, if he is not playing, he is in the bed. I was very impressed with the quality, and how fast it came in the mail. I did not know you can buy your own fabric and they will make, Good to know:) |

Those pix are so cute of your baby having a big lounge on the new Cloud 9. Tibbe never spent time in his old regular dog bed but since he got his Cloud 9 from LadyJane and YHR Boutique, he spends a great deal of time snoozing on it and gives me more room on the couch days and evenings but Tibbe still naps and sleeps with me. Love our Cloud 9 bed! |

i once looked into sending a dog carrier to someone in Canada. from the USPS, it goes by the dimentions of the box and the weight. i've recieved 2 of those cloud 9 beds, my girls love them, and they came squished into a small box so i think that could fit the requirements for the smaller dimentions for the lower postage, but not sure. otherwise, if the box is too big it is very expensive to ship. |

Thanks for your nice comments. :). For the amount of fabric, you should probably ask Linda. She told me 3.5 yards but when I asked Joanne's to cut me 3.5, it ended up being too much fabric. I don't know if it was that the fabric I chose was wider or something like that. For the Canadian poster, I agree about asking if you can pay extra for shipping. Or if that's too much, maybe try making your own with the same materials? I don't know. If at all possible, I'd try to pay extra and get it shipped. Looking at it, it seems like a lot of work to sew it nicely. But if you're good at sewing, maybe it can be a fun project. Kona is still enjoying it a lot. And we're glad we were able to pick our own fabric since it matches our furniture nicely. :) |

Would it be possible for LJ to ship a bed to a YT'er or your family/friend who lives on the US/Canada border...then have that person drive it across the border to the nearest Canadian Post Office and have it shipped to you? Would probably have to be re-boxed and labeled before dropping it off with a Canadian Post Office. Would be an extra effort on someone but seems like that would work?...Just a thought |

This is too cute! My problem would be that my Yorkie is a newbie and he is only 9wks old. He is currently scratching, biting and dragging his bed around the room. Are any of you experiencing this? Will this continue as he gets older? I would like to purchase a Cloud Nine Bed (of course custom) but am afraid he may damage this as well. |
Ladyjane posted in another thread about shipping to Canada. It was additional charge if I remember correctly. Why don't you contact her and she could tell you the best way. |
@mykkey, Our yorkie did that when he was a puppy too. We just told him "no" and tapped him on the side and he would stop. |

@ nychelse, that's what I did too. (Wanted it to match our home decor.) Ladyjane was really great about doing the custom job. Very quick turn-around. Our dog still loves his bed :), and it comes out even fluffier every time you put it through the washer/dryer until he squashes it down again. |
