Best harness Hi everyone! I am looking for a harness. I do not want the step in harness because my mom's maltipoo got out of one and almost got killed. I want one that is a vest. If you know of a website or a good brand, that would be very helpful! Thanks a bunch! |
Safety, comfort, and ease are the reasons I am devoted to the Buddy Belt harness. They are super lightweight and easy to put on and take off. |

I have a cloth one that velcrose and now that I have her cute colthes I don't want to overdress her but also need some kind of harness with the hook to go through the clothing so that I can leash her but don't want to over pad her. |
Okay... I think I want this one in pink. Please tell me, what size should I get for my 3 pound Yorkie? A small or smaller? Mutt Gear Comfort Harness - Harnesses For Big Dogs |

I've used my puppia step in vest harness for the last 2.5 yrs on my Snickers as it for the best (the xsmall) but am about to get a buddy belt as I have heard GREAT things about it since it goes no where near the neck area. Snick & Viv |

I see you're in So Ca. Would you mind PMing me and letting me know where you got your dog? I'm having a terrible time locating a puppy here is So Cal. thank you and good luck with the harness. I want to get all my stuff so I have car carrier and harness, etc when i pick up the puppy if I can ever find one. ;) |

I swear by Puppia. I've tried lots of others but I really always end up coming back to Puppia. I think they are cute and stylish, but also really comfortable and light-weight, and secure. I would love to try the Buddy Belt but the price puts me off because Jackson is 16lbs and his girth is pretty large... so bigger the girth = bigger the price, LOL! Unfortunately. I'm not sure how big I'd be on the belt part of it either, it seems like it'd be harder to take on/off, and I'm constantly taking his harness off and on. I also love chattiesmom harnesses, by YT member. |
You do not want to get your new puppy where I got mine! Mine was sold to me with a lot of problems, one being sarcoptic mange! So stay far away from anyone selling Yorkies in Little Rock California. That is now where I live, but I drove a couple of hours to go there and get her. Good luck! I know there are good breeders in S. California. Start a post asking. :) Quote:
