Male dog clothes?
 
Is it just me or is it extremly hard to find sweaters, coats and clothes for male yorkies?
Well anyways I was hoping you all could list some sites with male designs on it for me:)
I don't have my yorkie yet-- I'm shopping for when he gets here he is a normal sized puppy; Do i need a size small or extra small?

Loki has a Casual Canine hoodie (ebay but I'm sure it orginaly came from Pet Edge)

He also has a hoodie by this company: http://www.allstardogs.com/ We bought it at a local boutique because you can't buy just one from their website, but I'm sure you might have a place near you.

I also am very pleased with his Ruff Ruff & Meow shirt. He is a medium, even thought the size chart says he is a small. It's SO cute.

Also try American Pup.

Those are both real cute. I have a male and a female and it is way harder to find cute stuff for the males.

Also I hope this link works, but HH Backer just had a show in Chicago. Our local places have all been there and will be getting merchandise in soon. A lot of the places have their new product lines on their website. It's tedious, but here is a list of exhibitors.

I saw that was going on. I wish I could have gone.

I shop @ BarkinDogClothes and I order from Jodi at Chloe's Clothes for Little Dogs. Shana from Tinkerbell's Closet has a lot of cute boy stuff, too. I haven't ordered from her yet, but I will be soon.

I have a male also so I have spent a lot of time looking through different websites for clothes for boys. A few sites I found are: kingwholesale.com, jbpet.com, petedge.com, kvvetsupply.com
They all have pretty reasonable prices. I just placed orders with king and jb so hopefully the clothes are nice when I get them. I ordered a coat from kvvet that is really cute. I also ordered a shirt from barkingdogclothes.com. I don't remember if they have all kinds of clothes (sweaters, coats, etc.) but the t-shirt I got is so cute and was really well-priced!!!!.

There is lots of boy sweaters out there, I have them for Poncho
our Chihuahua. Just watch the size, because they are different.
Poncho has xs-s-m so be sure to ask questions if you order them
on the net. :) :) :) :)

Well I can't really give you any web site names but I know for a fact that a lot of malls sell clothes, jackets, Sweaters, etc. for males. You could try them but there are also alot of people on Yorkie Talk that sold us clothes.

If you go to pamperedpuppy boys it will show you items for boy dogs from a bunch of different sites at once. Some of them are pricey, but others aren't too bad.

May I also suggest, www.barkindogclothes.com. They have 'boy' cut shirts which can personalized with pretty much almost anything. They are cute clothes for very reasonable prices.

I was just in Petsmart yesterday and they had a TON of cute boy sweaters and coats. Their usual line has some t's and some polos, but their winter stuff is awesome!

My male Maltese has an extensive wardrobe made up of stuff from barkindogclothes.com, ImAPreciousPup.com, and Petco.com. I've also found the occasional thing from Petedge.com and ebay. Glamourdog.com also has some cute things. There is a LOT more out there now for boys than when I first got my boy.. just keep looking you'll find some cute things out there. :)

I just had two sweatshirts specially made here. They will custom make any design on any shirt and to your dogs measurements. Here's Logan in his two new shirts.

The 1st one is his Indianapolis Colts shirt
The 2nd has his name and a pawprint.

i've found really nice sweaters from petco and shirts and jackets from target. i've also bought lucky a couple of thing from build a bear. there is also a place online called jeffers pet. they have really cute pj's. the link is below hopefully i pasted it correctly.

I'm new tp YT and have my first yorkie. This may be a crazy question, but does anyone dress or tempted to dress their male yorkies in girl clothes? The girl's clothes are so pretty. I guess I'll just have to get female yorkie. ;)

I just did a big order from barkingdogclothes for the rescue and they had alot of boy stuff. Plus they will customize things a bit if you ask. I can't WAIT to get the things. They are already on the way. REALLY FAST !!!! :D

chjsmom, don't feel bad but i feel you. When I first got my yorkie I thought getting a male or female didn't matter. Then when Toki got bigger and wanted to get him clothes I was so tempted to dress him like a girl which I have to as my model so I can get away from doing that. But I wouldn't walk him in the streets with girl clothes. hahahaha

Haha don't feel bad at all! (I'm not laughing at you.. I'm laughing with you!) Because I've thought about the same thing. I mean for some reason, unknown to me, everybody who meets him thinks he's a girl anyway!? How weird is that? I guess in order to be a cute poochie you gotta be a girl!? lol He doesn't seem to mind! But my mom put a little dolls dress on him and he has never looked more ticked off!

I really love Targets clothes but GEEZE almost all of them are for girls! All I could see this past weekend was PINK, PINK and more PINK! haha
