| Best Belly Bands? Ok, I've decided I need belly bands. I can't hang out in the kitchen with an only half-way potty trained puppy all the time - I have other stuff I have to get done. And he's getting more and more energy and staying awake more and more (we've played for about 6 hours straight today, and NO NAP YET!!!), so he's far less happy in his crate while I do my other stuff. Not done with vaccinations yet either due to some other illnesses, so running around outside isn't an option to wear him out either. I'm seriously going crazy... he's in his crate right now, whining and yipping LOUDLY because I can't have him on my lap because he can't sit still. SOOOOO... BELLY BANDS! Then he'll be able to wander around in the living room and in the shop with us after he's pooped outside and we only have pee to worry about (hopefully). So here's the question: who all on here makes belly bands (I think there's a few of you)? And to the people who have bought belly bands, who makes your favorite, or at least whose do you use? It would make me very happy to buy from a YT member :-) Also, do you use just the bands and then wash them, or do you put some kind of absorbant pad under the business section? Also, if your pup hates having it on, how do you keep him from chewing it and ripping it off? Thank you so much... Lauren & Nikko |

| I bought one at PetSmart just to try, but I'd like to buy from a yt member. Since my guy is a 5 yr old rescue and has just been neutered, I didn't know how much trouble I'd have house training him or how much he would mark. I really like the belly band; I put a panti-liner in it. I don't keep it on him when he's right here with me, but when we have company and I know I won't be right there all the time, I put it on him. And when I take him anywhere I'll use one too. So far (since Sunday) he's only pee'd with it on twice. I would like to buy a couple more though so I can cycle them in the wash; I guess I didn't get the panti-liner in just right and it leaked onto the belly-band.

| Belly Bands I bought mine on the web. You get three for $15.00. They're made by a college student. You even get to pick the prints. You put a Poise pad in them. When thry grt wet you change the pad. I wash Baron's belly off with a baby wipe and make sure his belly is dry before I put the belly band back on. I'm posting pics from his 1st birthday party. He's wearing one because we went to my Aunt's home for the party. She has his brother. They work out great and save you from all the clean-up on the floor etc. Also, I leave the belly band off @ night so his skin can breathe. He's in his crate anyway!! Hope this helps, Baron's Mom

| I bought some scrap material at JoAnn Fabrics for cheap and I'm going to make my own for my boys.

| I got mine from mygofetch.com. The person is a member here. It was about 10 including shipping. I actually found it more of a hassle to be taking it on and off when you go outside, changing the pad, etc instead of just crating when you can't watch him. If you still want one the one I got has a really cute design. I might suggest ordering two, since it took forever for me to figure out how to put the pad so it doesn't get on the belly band. I had to keep washing it. I think it is ok to take him outside on walks, just not socializing with stray dogs. Maybe not, I've never had a puppy or researched them.. nevermind don't listen to me.

I bought mine at Petsmart as well, BUT I just noticed the other day it is leaving marks on hiss PP and sides I believe it is rubbing him. And he doesn't mess with it at all so IDK. And I got a size small...
