Infestation is not an issue and the larvae are dead when born from the heart worm meds they are both on. I am going to switch the product and see what happens. Thank you for your input...this site is awesome!!!! |

Interesting fact: The flea actually stays on the pet only 20% of the time. When treating the house, must do it for 3 months consecutively. I heard that all insects eventually become immune to whatever insecticide we are using too. Yuck. I use Frontline too & I'll occasionally see a flea. Yucky. |
I use Frontline Plus and thankfully have never had a flea, but I have found a couple of ticks over the years. Still, I think it must be working pretty good. I am interested in trying the pill next time though as I dislike the oily mess when first applying to their hair. |
I have a cat that decided to take a trip in the woods and next thing i no I have fleas on all my yorkies. Frontline was costing me well over $120.00 a month and did nothing for the fleas neither did biospot. I spred Dursban down on my lawn and bombed my house 3 times. Than I decided to use Rotinone an organic insecticide for plants and it is a dust on all my dogs and cats. So far we have been flea free getting ready for another fun filled year of insects and I will not be wasting my money on Frontline. I am worried about giving my breeding dogs pills for fleas. |
