I am not going to answer this because I know the peticure product but because as a human nail tech I know it is going to depend on frequency of use and the size and thickness of the dogs nail. There are different grit strengths available to me and it doesn't seem like anyone has said that about the peticure. I think a large dog's nails would rip through one band pretty quicky. I can get 100 course bands for $8.99 at my cost. I can't immaging that they developed a product that required a whole different kind of band from a dremmel or nail drill. They are interchangeable so this may work. If anyone can post a picture and a estimated measurement, I may be able to lead you into another direction. |

Unfortunately, they look wider but it's hard to tell. I was hoping to be able to save everyone some $$$$. |

I suppose they might....it is advertised on TV & they do carry the "as seen on TV" items. The question would be "WHEN" will they have them? |
I was at the mall today where we have an "AS SEEN ON TV" store and I did not see them there. usually things that walmart carries show up a month or two after they hit that store so I guess we'll have to wait and see. |
FYI, I used my petticure on two cats, my dog, and a medium size dog of my friends today. I made it through all except the medium size dog (did 3 paws before the band gave out.) hope that helps you guys figure out how long the bands last. I myself just have the one dog so I think it should last a pretty long time. |
My Peticure finally arrived (I ordered it mid-August) and I tried it out on Mocha today. I was able to do his back feet no problem, but it was an exhausting and unsuccessful struggle with the front feet :( Everytime I would pick up one of his front paws, he'd do anything and everything (including trying to bite me) to prevent me from getting anywhere near his nails  I used to be able to clip his nails without a problem, but ever since he had them clipped by the vet, he doesn't let me go anywhere near his nails. Is there anything else I can do besides having them trimmed at the groomer's or vet? |
I got mine today! I waited 6 weeks for it and I got Elvira (2 1/2 yr old) in my lap and gave her a treat and she kind of jiggled right at first, then calmed down, and after each foot (I thought it would be after each toe, but she waited) I gave her a treat, and it worked just as advertised. Do it just for a count of 3 though and then wait a sec and do it again. Their nail does get hot. The older one (12) just whined and cried, but finally gave up and was still. But it was easy too. She's only 4 pounds, so I can control her better than the 13 pound one. I think I really like it. It will take several days to get their nails down to where they should be, that's okay too. It was easy. I think I really like it. It's just like a dremel tool, but runs much slower so it's not as noisy or hard to hold. I think you'll be pleased. |
they sell these at my walgreens - $19.99! i saw them in my store yesterday. it comes with 2 or three extra filing bands. |
Pedi Paws sold in CVS I went to CVS today and saw that they were selling the Pedi Paws at CVS for $19.99. I picked one up, but am debating whether I should keep this or get the Peticure instead Has anyone used the Pedi Paws yet? |

I also saw them at Bed Bath and Beyond this past weekend. |
Saw the pet nail grinder for sale at Bed Bath and Beyond for same price as advertised on television, but you save on shipping. Actually it would be 20% cheaper with coupon, and they are always mailing out coupons. |
