| What's the difference? over 50% cheaper??? Ok, Ive always wanted the plastic playpen for my yorkies. I really wanted one recently when we had a litter ...one baby only. Well went again to Petco and Petsmart. They sell for $119 + and even like $140 ! I went to Sears and found the exact thing for $64 I checked it out and bought it! it's perfect for puppies and adult yorkies. The best part is that its light enough to carry. I have the metal Xpen and its very heavy! The only thing I would not suggest this for is for puppies that are like 1 -3 weeks old. I guess depending on their size. Lucky's head does NOT fit into any of the corners lol thank goodness. Y You can shape it to an Octagon shape, square, rectangle and even into a small square . The picture on the box even shows a dog in it, a baby in it.... so it works for dogs as well. But I wonder why is it soooo much more if it says Specifically for pets??? | baby octagon I ordered mine from Walmart and had them ship it to my local store for NO SHIPPING! I paid $58.14 plus $4.07 in tax! I LOVE IT! The pups can walk around instead of being cooped up in their crates when I run errands or other stuff.

| It's in the Baby Section. It has 6 Panels that are about 30" wide. It's 30"inches high also. The way I have it set up is 30" wide by 60"inches Long. You can do a small square 30"X30" I set it up into a small square at bedtime and just put 1 pee pad in there with his fluffy Pooh blanky & toys So.... dont buy the Playpen from petstores! lol Go to Walmart or Sears lol Genie,Cookie,Lola,Angel & Lucky |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | The difference is the department and/or store you purchased it. Pee pads sold in pet stores are priced very high ....cause they say...doggie pee pads. Go into any drug store or medical supply and you can buy a CASE of 100 or more of adult ones.

| I've noticed these type of price differences as well. It really is worth it to shop around and find these things out. Thanks for the advice on the wee wee pads to! I wouldn't have thought to look elsewhere.

| Do you use the adult pads? If you do, how much do they run? Do they do better than say pee pads from Wal-mart? I'm always looking to save money if I can!

| The adult ones are practically the same as the kind they sell at wal-mart. You can get 40 for around $7 at Walgreens or CVS.

My xpen was $65 from Babies R Us. I felt strange being in line with all the pregnant women buying my baby a play yard. They had them by the gates. I almost paid the Petsmart price too.

| I was actually able to get a metal one from dog.com pretty cheaply- I think it was under $50, but wished we had found a plastic one that would be lighter to haul to grandma's! My sister-in-law has found quite a few good deals on gates and pens at yard sales and flea markets too- usually they just need a good cleaning. |

| Epoxy coated 18 inch high I just found one on PetEdge.com. It's pink and blue epoxy coated metal, 18" high and has 8 panels that fold in any direction. If it's like the one my breeder has, it is very light. I have not received it yet, but it was under 50 bucks. |

| I was thinking of getting the one from Petedge also but 18" is not tall enough for my dogs. . . This one is about 30" inches high I think. Genie |
