Anyone hear of Joe's Pet Meds/cheap prices Has anyone heard of Joe's Pet Meds. Buy pet medications for less. I can't believe the cheap prices on Frontline Plus / 3mos 25.95/6mos 47.95 HeartGuard Plus 0-25lbs 6mos 23.95 That's 1/2 price from my vet. I know vets charge more but even the petstore I go to charges 39.00 for Frontline Plus for 3mos. Do you think this is a good place to buy? Anyone? |
I don't know. I've never heard of it. The only thing I would suggest is to be careful, because if they have pharmacies on the net selling fake human meds then it is also possible for someone to sell fake doggie meds. |
I've bought from them before, no problem. As far as I know the product was the real thing, it worked anyway. Martha |
Thanks, I'm going to try. I can't believe the prices. I was worried about the experation date. |
thanks carol , im going to try them too as soon as i need to. |
Hey, If Martha uses them- I think that is the way I will go! My sister and I are going to go together and buy bigger- for both the dogs- thought it would save- this will help more! Thanks fot the heads up on this!! |
Well I took the chance and ordered. I saved $50.00:eek: Shipment should arrive in 4-7 working days. Let's hope all is ok. I'll keep you posted. It specifically states it's a safe site. |
Joe's Pet Meds Joe's Pet Meds is an outlet for pet medications located in Australia. I have bought pet meds from them and they are very easy to get meds from. I ordered Revolution for cats from them and they were delivered to my mailbox about a little over a week later. No shipping charges. The price that is quoted on the website is what you pay for it and they are not copy meds. They are the real thing. I have not found any other site that offers them cheaper. Before I ordered the pet meds, I emailed them with the concern I had at the time over the fake meds and I was promptly replied to. I am very happy with Joe's Pet Meds. |
Yes, they are the real thing and the prices were very good. However, when my package came all the cells in the heartguard were broken and one package from the frontline leaked all over the rest of the package. I called them, they gave me a credit, I threw everything away and went to my vet! So much for saving money. LOL I won't order again, too much frustration. |
I get 6 mths supply of Ivermectiin (aka generic Heartguard) for $13.95 from Petshed. They also sell Heartguard Plus for $25.95. |
I use entirelypets.com but have never ordered a prescription med from them. Their products are said to be FDA/EPA approved though and, as far as I know, they don't get their meds from other countries. I have ordered Denosyl and none of the bubble tins had been popped. 6 Months Heartgard PLUS Blue (for Dogs up to 25 lbs) 6 MONTH Frontline PLUS Orange for Dogs 0-22 lbs |

I just purchased heartguard last week from the vet. It went up again $4.00. This time it was $32.00. I guess he's not rich enough already! I do like him tho. I will keep this on file for the future. Thanks so much, |

Joes Pet Meds WARNING! Do not order from Joes Pet Meds. They are located in Australia. This is why you shouldn't buy their product, despite the fact that their prices are very low for a reason. First of all, their Fronline is not legitimate. I made the mistake to order from them recently. I then made some phone calls first to my vet then to Frontline. They both told be not to use the product. When you get the package it looks legitimate but it's not. It may not work at all or may even cause harm to your pet. Not worth it. The other reason is that they are all bunch of liars and crooks. I ordered the Fronline on June 1, 2009. That same day I emailed them and told them to cancel the order because I didn't feel comfortable using their product. However, they replied and stated that the item was already shipped. They then told me to just refuse the item and send it back to them and they promised to give me full credit. I received the item 7 days later June 8, 2009 and I did what they told me to do and refused the item. It has been almost 3 weeks and no credit. I have emailed them several times and all I got is all bunch of BS. I know that they have received the item by now. It took 7 days for the item to reach me and I am sure it would take the same amount of time to reach them. Anyway, the fact is that the Frontline they use is NOT the real thing. The low price they charge is not worth the risk to your pet. Don't buy. |
I don't know if anyone has an An-Jans near their house. It is a pet store with the higher quality food brands. I did a heartworm test on my dog AND got a YEARS supply of Heartgard for $37. What a deal. |
Some of the farm stores sell flea products as well. Not sure about the heart worm meds. I'll check that out next time I go. You can buy Front-Line or Advantage/Advantix and it's cheaper then the pet stores or the vet. It saves me a little over 5 dollars. |
Updating my old post in this thread: Awhile back I ordered from Entirelypets and the bubble containers were almost pooped for the first time. The box of Denosyl got bent up. The pills didn't come out though and it wasn't a big deal. It had just been shipped in an envelop instead of a box this time. I am still very happy with them though. Generic drugs are fine but I would not get anything from out of the country. It is way too questionable in my opinion. It also can't be FDA approved. |
I bought a year worth of frontline (I believe) last year and I've been using it. I actually found a flea on my Bella yesterday and she's been itching like crazy recently. First I thought it might have been the climate change since we've been on vacation but NOPE, it's fleas. As far as the site goes...it's real, but for the meds...I don't know if it's really working. |

I wanted to comment on Joe's Pet Meds, which I once tried - fyi, the product I received was manufactured in Mumbai (though it shipped from Aus.) - which I'm not comfortable with at all. I returned them, and they refunded me. However, I am comfortable ordering heartworm meds from other Australia vendors. For example, their Interceptor (by reliable vendors) is made by Novartis Australia - which is where it should be made (not Mumbai). There are reliable Australia vendors who supply legitimate heartworm meds. That said, if you purchase heartworm meds from somewhere other than your vet, I don't believe the manufacturer will cover your pet's care if they should ever contract heartworm. Whereas if you buy from your vet, the coverage would be guaranteed. It depends on what you're comfortable with. |
oh noooo!!! i ordered hearworm and flea and tick medicine for lexi from joes pet meds, and lexi has been taking them both since march.. no problems, but i just went into my files and wrote in big letters, not to use them anymore. god forbid.. i orderd from them twice already.. now i know better. i will spend alittle more next time and go somewhere else |

Just seeing this. It was easy, their phone # was on the invoice in the box. It was wet with Frontline but it was there. I called them immediately explained what happened, they said to discard the merchandise and they will credit my account. They did and I never ordered again. |
I've never ordered from of those places but I have always wondered about those sites. I'm just sticking with my vet, even if it costs me a little more it is worth it in the long run. |
I live in Indianapolis. I got my order (Revolution for cats) from Joe's Pet Meds yesterday, it took 10 days. My older cat acted exactly how she has in the past with other pesticides so I'm not concerned about it being fake. I saved quite a bit of $ by using Joe's so I will use them again. |
Cheap Pet Meds... I use CanadaVet..meds just like ours and MUCH cheaper! Never a problem either. Just like human meds are cheaper in Canada, so are pet meds. |
