| knot free cloths Whenever I keep a sweater on Duffy for more than a few hours, his hair is so knotted when I take it off that he cries when I try to comb him out. Does anyone know of a material that won't knot and I can make him some cloths or does anyone make cloths for male furbabies that won't knot up his hair?

| I think silk is gentle on their hair. A few YT vendors make silk pajamas and nighties - they're very cute! |

| Maybe try a different shampoo and conditioner on Duffy. Remi has wool sweaters and fleece tops to keep him warm. Although his hair looks a little while when I pull them over his head, a quick comb and everything is back in place. I use Earthbath shampoo and conditioner, as well as Pantene or Nexus conditioner at the last rinse. Hope this helps! |

| Use a slicker to get those knots out so it doesn't hurt. If you use a really good conditioner it can stop that. The silk harness that Chattismom makes are also wonderful at not knotting the coat. |

| I appreciate all of the answers. I am not concerned with the harness as that is not a problem. The problem is keeping him warm when it is really cold out. When we go for a walk or just out to play he shivers if he doesn't have a sweater on. I use conditioners when I bathe him and he only knots up when he is wearing the sweater for a few hours. It doesn't happen when he wears a T shirt, only sweaters/fleece type cloths. I think I am going to try to make him a jacket with a satin lining to see if that helps.
