I don't know how I've missed this story!!  :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown This is one reason why I don't like to read this section. It always angers me, disgusts me and saddens me. When will this stop?! |
It's about time. I don't live far from Nashville so that's not a story I'll ever forget hearing. |
I had not heard this story...how sick some people are! The ONLY good thing to come out of this tragedy is that the Laws have now been changed! |
So very sad. I can't fathom why anybody would be so cruel! I can't even imagin what Gizmos parents feel. So very sad. I hope that boy(for lack of a better word that is somewhat lady like) feels the pain he has caused others. Satin will have his hands full when that day comes. |
Wow thats bulls**t. Hes goiing to hell for sure |
Earlier this year in South Africa a guy chopped of the head of his Husky puppy because it killed his parrot. There was a huge outcry from the puplic and he was taken to court and fined R10 000 which is about 1400 dollars. The public where very annoyed about the outcome of the court case, as everyone expected him to do time. A few months ago, it was reported in the news that he died of head injuries in a car accident. "The old saying goes...... what goes around, comes around..." and I do believe that you will have your day. The young man who killed Gizmo will have his day where he will pay for what he has done. |
Could y'all imagine this guy in jail for the heinous crime of kicking his dog. I'l bet he is spending time in a cell with an animal lover named Bubba with his pants down around his ankles. "Justice is served" |
Gizmo First, Rest in peace Gizmo. It is so sad that any human is heartless enough to hurt any furbaby. They have no way to defend themselves. I think someone needs to kick him the way he kicked that furbaby. The least he should recieve (I think) is the stiffest penality available. Equally as sad as the incident is a jury letting him off easily. Sharon McGlone |
oh my...how could someone be so cruel...i hope someone kicks him across the jail cell like he did Gizmo....argh!!!! |

It shouldn't come to a death of a believe pet to bring about more rules! |
Don't get me started! The ONLY good thing to come out of this tragedy is that the Laws have now been changed![/QUOTE] Call me a cynic - but I've always maintained that in Canada and the States, it's socially acceptable to be cruel to animals .... because there are no consequences for people that are. No matter what the laws are, there have to be judges (and juries) willing to dispense proper justice. Animal abusers are seldom convicted, almost NEVER serve time, and if they DO get jail sentences, they're allowed to serve on weekends, or are out in a couple of months etc.etc. Don't kid yourself that fellow inmates will give them a rough time... perhaps the odd one would be indignant, but most of them either wouldn't care, or would find the incident amusing. Society just doesn't take animal cruelty issues seriously.... there is outrage, public outcry, petitions etc. etc., but in case after case, the criminal gets a slap on the hand and a gentle admonition not to do it again. WAY too often, if the OWNER is the guilty party, the animal is returned to them - ensuring that the animal gets a death sentence and the owner learns nothing.... except that they can do whatever they want. There was a case in Canada last year where a protester at some rally INTENTIONALLY drove his van into a police horse, which sustained such serious injuries it had to be shot on the spot. The horse's human partner, (who was riding the horse at the time), was absolutely devastated, there was a police funeral etc. for the horse, HUGE public support for the officer and rage against the perpetrator........ but he got off scott free... I'm not even sure if he was fined. I get so disgusted by these cases that I've pretty much given up on humanity EVER understanding that anyone who has so little regard for animals is depraved and probably a danger to people as well. I could go on and on, but I just end up angry, frustrated and depressed for the entire day. |
I do remember this story. I'm glad he was found guilty, although I'm sorry it was of the lesser crime. Of course, I guess he could claim he was too stupid to know it would kill the dog. |
They should be held down and kicked to DEATH!!! I just can't imagine this. I read this story and began crying. If it was my dog being kicked by a bunch of punks I would run over there and start kicking them. I don't care what my punishment would be. Our dogs are like our children and this poor defenseless little dog did not deserve this. I don't think I could have held back. The three boys need to be held down and kicked to DEATH just like they did the dog. I would hold Chad like a football and kick the hell out of him until he died!!!! them sorry SOB'S!!!!:( |
