Gunnar is my baby boy!! I'd just lost my chi. My 21y.o., 6'4" son was always busy and I knew he was getting ready to move out. My DH is always on the computer playing games. I needed something to cuddle and pamper! I found me a little furball to lovingly spoil, LOL! I definitely needed something to nurture. |
After a couple days of not seeing my daughter, I call her up and tell her to get over here....he sister wants to see if her. Nothing wrong with that, huh. My child loves her big sissy! Yes, yes....mommy loves her wittle Zhoie girlie. LOL, LOL. :D |
HANDS DOWN! Taycie and I totally belong in this group:) I do anything for that little girl! I am single and live in a one bedroom apt and she is my absolute number one priority!!! I treat her just like a baby!!! I stop at nothing to spoil her... that's what moms are supposed to do right?:) |
I totally treat Fynnlie like he's my baby. No ifs, ands or buts there. |
I know that I certainly treat my Baylee and Jack as my children. |
I agree with you totally... I also am single and live in a one bedroom in NYC and my Rocco is my little guy who i just love!! I call him Mama's love!! |
Its too far for them, they would be confined in a cage in a dark noisy area for 8hrs, That would be scary enough for them without all of the health exams they would have to go through in france and ireland. You are talking about putting them through that trauma not just once but twice in a couple of weeks. Far better get a dog sitter (NOT a teen!!!!) and go enjoy your holiday, with the right person the dogs will be fine. |
My furbabies are my children too even though I have a 14 yo. He is off doing his own thing and my furbabies are there with me to snuggle, get kisses from, get treats .... of course, they are my children. I'm be appalled if someone said they weren't. Oh and btw, they do get their own gifts at Christmas too! |
Yep, mine gets treated like a child and she doesn't back either :D |
That's how I feel Quote:
I've always been emotionally independent, so I wasn't looking for someone to love me, though that is a huge perk with my little ones ;), but I had much love to give and I wanted to give it to someone that would appreciate it, at least. I have no human children of my own, but I have lots of nieces, nephews, and god-children. I'm just the bank for them, though  (or rather, I USED TO BE). Since I adopted my first little girl, the bank closed :p and my priorities shifted drastically. My little ones ARE my children, and as a first time mom, I'm an experienced spoiler :D |
What's wrong w/ that? |
Princess is my "baby" also. I have 4 "skin kids that are adults now. My youngest is 21 and still lives at home, full time college student, works 1 full time job, 1 part time job. Our pomeranian is her "baby" and our yorkie is my "baby". Both pups are spoiled rotten! And I will do anything and everything for them! Princess has definitely made it very clear.... I am her MOMMY! I just love her so much and so happy to have her in my life. I have kitties that love to snuggle with me also, but Princess is a much better snuggle buddy. She hates for me to be out of her sight! LOL!!! Now that she is fully potty trained... outside and indoors on a potty pad... I feel comfortable taking her anywhere with me when visiting family. And she has recently gone thru spay surgery so now I feel more at ease if she is around any other dogs, other than our pomeranian. Princess makes me feel so loved with all the snuggles and kisses she gives me all the time. |
:pGUILTYYY! |
Yeah....I try to remember he is a dog when I have to leave him...but it is hard...he misses me, I'm just sure of it! I spoil him...guilty. |
