[News] Washing Machine for Dogs... I just saw a dog washing machine on the front page of yahoo and thought I would share it Yahoo! |
interesting! |
WOW - what will they think of next. I could not imagine subjecting one of my furkids to something like that. |
I saw this on t.v. NO WAY I could put one of my babies in there! The poodle looked scared to DEATH!! |
I just saw this on Yahoo. I am appalled. Even hubby who I showed it to sd the dog looked scared to death. Sd the dog probly thought it was getting eaten. |
I saw it too and thought it was cruel. The poor dog looked scared to death. Not for my babies :thumbdown |
That's been around a while and I never really thought people would subject dogs to it but guess I'm wrong I think it's cruel too. |
I dont like it at all! I think it will instill more fear in the dog everytime its place into a small confined place... |
When I lived in Wisconsin, they had one in one of the pet stores. I'd never put my dog in there. |
i dont know if its safe then i dont see the problem but then again Gatsby climbs inside the stand that my clothes washer sits on (perfectly safe holds up 3000 pounds) and sleeps so i dont think he would scared |
I recently saw it on the news. They said it is "treated" water?? There has to be soap, right?? How would anyone like to be trapped in a small space with no way out......& "treated" water blast in yr face? They are pressed to the glass just to get a breath, my gosh! I think it is very CRUEL!:( |
Just when you thought you'd seen it all. That poor baby looks scared to death... :( I would never put my dog in there. And it takes over 30 minutes?? I felt like I couldn't breathe just watching the water spray in its face. :( IMO that's cruel. |
Not long ago there was a thread somewhere on her talking about those and they are very dangerous. They overheat and cook your dog in the dry cycle. I would NEVER put my dog in one of those things.:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown |
Whether washing or drying, I like to have my hands touching my pup for security and to know the temperature at all times. Who could put their baby in something like that? What about talking or singing to your furpup and making bath time a fun experience? |
How do they breathe in there with the water like that??? I couldn't even imagine... |
That's crazy! It seems so uncomfortable & scary! |

I bet some idiot bought one of them! |
That is so horrible in so many ways. |
There is no way any animal should be put in that contraption! I cannot even imagine how frightened my Trixie would be in that this....it must feel like they are drowing with all that water on them. Very sad :( |
Wow.. this is on the market? I too would worry about - malfunctioning too hot too cold water in eyes / ears - up the nose, Would not do this to any animal.:thumbdown:thumbdown |

I would much rather hold my babies while I give them a bath. That way they at least feel a sort of safety in my hands. |
The woman claimed to have got in herself and said it was "satisfactory". Yea right. I'm sure she did. |
Disgusting! If you are not willing to take the time to take care of your baby properly, you shouldn't have one, imo! |
Someone just told me about this machine. I dont know about this though. Wow, what will we think of next. |
Your babies are absolutely georgeous, wow how many do you have? How do you get the avatar pics. to flash like that? I cant wait till my baby has long hair like that, beautiful!! Bulbywoman |
Nuts !!!! :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown Nuts !!! All that water in the eyes and ears , we should put that lady in there. !!!!! Than ask how do u like it ???? bark@ulater!!!!!! manina,miley:aimeeyorkmax:animal36 |
Personally I dont like it. I would feel panic seeing my dog in there. Also the water spraying everywhere?? Maybe if it was something that the dog's head could be free and the machine would be from the neck down . Gen |
That poodle handled the wash like a trooper. My girls would have been scared to death. I truly enjoy bathing my pup's and I think they enjoy it too! |
