This is as bad as it get! You never think something so horrible would happen and in our own city!!! They even found a mummified cat in a cage in the ceiling panels.

What a shame!

I am sooooooo mad.

AND I HAVE BEEN GIVING THEM DONATION YEARLY !!! What are they doing with MY money? :mad:

This is very, very,very sad...

hearing about this made me feel physically ill. I am so sorry that you were donating to them- i do hope your money went to animals in need.

They are charging Tim Trow and I think some of the employees too. Once the administration is change, they will need more help then ever to take care of the 1000 animals in needs.

I won't stop helping them but I won't give them cash anymore. I am going to donate bags of dog food instead of money so I know I am REALLY helping the animals.

The first paragraph was all I could read.
By the looks of his gut he wasn't going hungary! He should BURN! along with
those who aided him. Those poor, poor animals. That place needs to be
closed and the animals moved to another facility or facilities. Sorry,
but I wouldn't send any more money to that place. I know the animals
would suffer but who's to say they won't continue to do so in that place.
Sick! OMG can't anyone on this earth be trusted to do what they are
suppose to do. No wonder people loose faith in society.:(

This is disgusting. I can't believe that the people who were suppose to be HELPING these animals were actually causing HARM to them. :mad:

And we are talking about one of the biggest animal shelter in Canada... It's located right downtown Toronto. How shameful to let things go down like that!

This is horrible. Those photos made me sick. Euthanizing them would be much kinder than those conditions.

I hope they do not get out of jail for a long long time.

I never expected something like this so close to home.

Unbelievable....I am feeling sick to my stomach....and they call the animals in cages animals....What goes around comes around!!! God will make sure of that!

This is horrible! And Tim Trow's pit bull bit a toddler on the head?! OMG!

Hell is too good for people like that. I hope they get the full 5 yrs. And they need to lock them up in their own feces and vomit never letting them out of their cells. Then they need to let them go without food and water for a week at a time. Give them a taste of their own medicine. You know make examples out of them and let people know this will not be tolerated.

Things like this just hurt my heart so badly! The pain is so great right now I can't even feel anger at these people. Just amazement that anyone could be so cruel.

An other good way to "show your love", would be to go for a walk with our dog on his property, let the dog do his business and FORGET TO PICK UP!!!

Animal Cruelty will never end, it is a horrible fact! but Some individuals believe money and politics are more important than the welfare of animals around them.
and this thoroughly disgusts me!! - I will never in a billion years become one of those individuals who chooses money over any animal!!

I'm so disgusted and sick to my stomach that something like this could go on right under our nose .Those poor animals his punishment should be the same treatment

When I lived in California, I had some Air conditioner problems and the guy who came out used to work at the Ramona Shelter. He told me stories that would make you VOMIT. I think it happens more then we know. I know I took a little dog out of there who was very old, blind and deaf . She had been there for 8 days with no food or water, Sure there was food & water in the kennel but there were 5 other small dogs in there too, very young and hyper. Needless to say they got their share and poor Gracie got none. When I asked too see her they just looked at me like you are kidding rite. When they got her out for me and we went into the visiting area they sat her down and she fell over. She was so week from starvation that she didn't even have the strength to just sit. When I took her to the vet they ran blood and took x-rays. Turns out the only things she needed were GROCERIES and dentistry. Imagine that. And the teeth were not what was keeping her from eating because when I got her home she ate like a trooper and emptied the water bowl. Well I hade her for 4 yrs before she died of kidney failure. I think she would have probably lived longer had her system not been so taxed from her 8 days at that shelter. She was the most grateful little dog and loving she was house broke too . Never once from the day I brought her home did she ever have an accident. I named her Amazing Grace and that she was.
